Apology accepted, but any continued lack of investment in pun material will wind me up.

I'm glad the puns aren't fraying too many people's nerves.

Anybody know how long Bale has left on his contract, maybe we can get Bale and Twine in the same team.

From a pun point of view that sounds too good to be true, or are you just stringing us along?

Has there been a hitch with this transfer? I hope knot.

I'm at the end of my tether with this yarn

Would seem like a very good signing. Sell Olise for big money and bring this lad in at a fraction of the Olise transfer value.
However I expect we will have to sell before we can buy so will be very restricted in our transfer dealings.

I’m not going to get roped into all of these puns. I’m tiered of them.

Are Swindon stringing us along until they tie him down to a new contract. I am getting myself all tied up in knots over this.

Swindon are all tied up in legal knots. Chaotic stuff going on at the County Ground. At this rate there'll be a boycott at the beginning of the season with many supporters off to watch Swindon Supermarine instead. As a consequence I'd say Twine will leave.

Hey *I* watched a game at Swindon Supermarine

Years back, scouted them as they were due to play NCAFC in the Cup

Twine's Wiki has been edited to say he's signing for Portsmouth in June. It's badly written though, so clearly a fan update.

We’d be crackers to sign him.

Turns out he has been stringing us along as he has signed for the mighty MK Dons.

Have MK Dons suddenly got lots of money? Was sure he'd go to a better club. How have they managed to tie this up.

Property is (relatively) cheap up here
Er, that's it as far as reasons to sign for the Franchisees.
