Actually, the game won't be boring at all. The last time they played here (if i'm not mistaken) they won 2-0.FiNeRaIn wrote:Watford- the most consistently boring side to ever play at the madejski, to top it off the coldest day of the season, couldn't be more fitting.
I was at that game, for a premiership fixture the standard watford played at was woeful, no passing football at all. We weren't much better and often have problems getting behind their defence.S09Royal wrote:Actually, the game won't be boring at all. The game in September was exciting yet debatable so i doubt it'll be a boring affair on friday night!

Walsall is the clear winner for me but it would be so nice to beat Watford for a change!Platypuss wrote:I'll raise you a WalsallFiNeRaIn wrote:Watford- the most consistently boring side to ever play at the madejski.

It's not going to be called off as it's on TV...
This is also where the Rugby will do no favours. They played on it again the other day and our pitch is crap at the moment as it is.Sun Tzu wrote:I'd say the state of the pitch will depend on how they have used the undersoil heating ...
It will have needed careful use over an extended period, especially in the areas of the ground that don't get any sunlight.
I'm sure those with horticultural knowledge will be able to tell us if there is a risk to the grass if the heating is over used...
Perhaps they have managed to cover the ground over night - which would probably be a better way of protecting the pitch than heating ?

Thank you for your email. I can not guarantee the match will be played, as anything can go wrong between now and kick off however we do have under soil heating so it would be extremely unlikely to be called off because of the freezing conditions.
Kind Regards
