Actually, the game won't be boring at all. The last time they played here (if i'm not mistaken) they won 2-0.
The game in September was exciting yet debatable so i doubt it'll be a boring affair on friday night!

I was at that game, for a premiership fixture the standard watford played at was woeful, no passing football at all. We weren't much better and often have problems getting behind their defence.

I'd say the state of the pitch will depend on how they have used the undersoil heating ...

It will have needed careful use over an extended period, especially in the areas of the ground that don't get any sunlight.

I'm sure those with horticultural knowledge will be able to tell us if there is a risk to the grass if the heating is over used...

Perhaps they have managed to cover the ground over night - which would probably be a better way of protecting the pitch than heating ?

This is also where the Rugby will do no favours. They played on it again the other day and our pitch is crap at the moment as it is.

Thank you for your email. I can not guarantee the match will be played, as anything can go wrong between now and kick off however we do have under soil heating so it would be extremely unlikely to be called off because of the freezing conditions.
