I don't get all the moaning. it's a blue and white hooped shirt. It has the club crest. It's a functional item for sportswear.

the black one is solid black rather than a repeat of the pattern on the front

At €64.90 you'd hope it was pretty good.

They've been removed from the listings page but the product pages are still available via the URL. Unless they've got some kind of buy-back agreement with Puma they'll need to get rid of them somehow, and the fact that they've not deleted the product pages yet suggests they might be back on sale at a later date...

Asked in the megastore today if they had any of the old shirts and was told they're not on sale anymore. Hoping they will come back on sale once the 'buzz' of the new shirts has died down.

Surely Puma wouldn't buy left overs back?

Has the club every sold off old shirts cheap at the same time as new ones? It seems highly unlikely to me they would do so as it would cannibalise new shirt sales. They'll just accept the lost and destroy them.

Went to the club shop on Tuesday and they had the Orange kit at 25% off but across all sizes there couldn’t have been more than 20 left.

On another note i brought the new training/warm up top today for £30. Very smart blue with the club crest and sponsor and for £18 less than the main top.

A colleague of mine passed away a couple of years ago. He was a long term Gillingham fan. His family asked everyone to wear football shirts. As none of us were Gillingham fans, I sent a request to Gillingham to see if we could borrow some old shirts and they sent us 15 of the previous years new shirts for free. Told us to donate to a charity shop local to the ground once we have finished with them. I assume this is the sort of thing that Reading would do. Also a number of football clubs / School teams have previous years shirts as they're main kit donated by Reading.
