05 Mar 2021 14:14I guess it would probably depend on the position we're in with regards to the play-offs. If we're either in or have blown up spectacularly with a game or two to go then yeah, I guess he might make the bench or start as there wouldn't be anything riding on the games. But if it goes down to the wire, I think Pauno will go with what he knows.Pepe the Horseman wrote:Is Nevers anywhere near ready for the first team? I know he's only just back from injury, but are we likely to see him burst onto the scene in the final weeks?

05 Mar 2021 14:19Yeh, just wondered if he's a cut above your Camaras, Melvin-Lamberts and Alukos and could actually be a serious option off the bench.Hendo wrote:I guess it would probably depend on the position we're in with regards to the play-offs. 05 Mar 2021 15:29Aluko is one of the ones who gets on the pitch a lot. He’s made 24 league appearances this season. Tetek has made 3.Stranded wrote:Or he will be on the bench and only used if needed - Tetek is playing too and on the bench most games.Mid Sussex Royal wrote:Must mean Meite is backSCIAG wrote:Aluko?! We have a match tomorrow!
With 9 subs now, there are always likely to be players on the bench who may not have been if the matchday squad was 16 or 18, so they need minutes somewhere to retain a level of match fitness if nothing else.

06 Mar 2021 10:24but very few more recently when it would have seemed more sensible to use him.SCIAG wrote:Aluko is one of the ones who gets on the pitch a lot. 13 Mar 2021 14:06I bet we never hear his name sung at the Mad Stad....Royals and Racers wrote:The U 18`s drew 2-2 with Crystal Palace at Bearwood this morning. Decent result as prior to the match starting Palace were top of the South division. The goals came from Ehibhatiomhan( scoring plenty of goals this season) and Paul. The result could have been better as Palace equalised with what was probably the last kick of the match in the 90 + 6 minute !
Edit Kelvin Ehibhatiomhan is 17 (18 in April) and was born in Nigeria and is a British citizen and has scored 8 goals in 12 appearances for the U 18`s this season.
