He'll just do it from the stadium(s) as Robbie Savage did when he did it last season

So have we all forgiven Jason Roberts for the Kebe incident then?

I couldn't figure out if we disliked JR for this or not... And where will we stand if we sign him??

Everyone hates him until he scores a goal for us then everyone will love him.

Yes. Him and Curo murdered us. It takes a lot to make me get up and leave early but I was so pissed off that day I went for a pint and then walked out.

Here for the KEBE wrote:Just the kind of player Alf could do with alongside him - would be amazing to see that strikeforce in place of the blunt-as-a-ball-of-bluetack Church & Hunt partnership
Actually, in a moment of re-evaluation last night, I remembered Roberts and Cureton were prolific together. And seeing as ALF is a goal poacher with better link up play than Curo... maybe it could work well.

Although inevitably we'd play Roberts and Hunt / Church.

And I still think he's too short term a signing to be a good idea.

That wasn't true after the game at the Mad Stad last season as a car came to pick him up. I remember the large crowd that surrounded the car trying to get his autograph!

Don't normally listen to 606 other than when coming back from games these days but could be an interesting listen if this deal goes through.

Ok yesterday I was 99% sure he would be. Today I'm 100% sure - Roberts was in Reading today, as well as making a short trip to Maidenhead (family there). Seems odd he'd be down here on a social visit. Am told he spent Sunday night in Reading too

OOOOOO the talent!!

On a serious note though I would take him, but only if he apologises to Jimmy. We don't want Jimmy pulling that stunt again and Jason attacking him in the knee with his studs!!

If Roberts signs and scores 14 goals I'd be over the moon personally, although a little disappointed if one of Hunt / Church / ALF don't go on to beat that leaving him top scorer...

If Roberts turns out to be our big money signing then everyone will be LOLing at us judging by work colleagues today.

No too sure about this...

Yakubu didn't exactly set the championship alight did he? And he is keeping Roberts out of a dismal Blackburn team...
