Next week might a deciding factor in our season.Sutekh wrote:Bolton lost but Ipswich drew.
Next away game is Ipswich, got to improve the utterly disgraceful away form which has seen 16 goals scored and 43 conceded in the last year (25 games). That run has seen just 1 win and a handful of draws.
No might about it. win we are 3 points clear, draw, has you were, lose back in the poo.Lower West wrote:Next week might a deciding factor in our season.Sutekh wrote:Bolton lost but Ipswich drew.

Bolton home to Ipswich April 4th.Sutekh wrote:And do the dreadful season rolls on.
Bolton fouled up at Leeds - no surprise and Ipswich only got a point at Wigan.
Reading and Rotherham totally failed to take advantage though so it’s still all to play for. Believe that after next week the bottom 4 will have played all their games against each other

Well, if we'd beaten Rotherham and Bolton instead of drawing to late equalisers we'd be 5 points clear and looking safe so it kinda does.AthleticoSpizz wrote:Thankfully, the stat counts for nothing obvs
It's always important to pick up points against your direct rivals because not only are you able to gain points, you deny them to the rival.AthleticoSpizz wrote:Yes Ian![]()
Just means that we have accrued more points from the teams above the others in the league of four.....means nothing.
SIX points dropped from winning positions late in those games (two at Bolton and 4 against Rotherham). If Reading had held out in those games they’d be EIGHT points clear of the bottom 3 (currently 30 points would become 36 and Rotherham would lose 2 points reducing them to 28) .Snowflake Royal wrote:Well, if we'd beaten Rotherham and Bolton instead of drawing to late equalisers we'd be 5 points clear and looking safe so it kinda does.AthleticoSpizz wrote:Thankfully, the stat counts for nothing obvs
I said Ipswich Bolton and reading down months ago and nothing has changed in my mind.Sutekh wrote:SIX points dropped from winning positions late in those games (two at Bolton and 4 against Rotherham). Just goes to show how utterly inept the squad, management and tactics have been this season and all helped along by the unbelievable catalogue of injuries.
And it all could be a whole lot more embarrassing by this time next week of course.
