Basingstoke clearly have problems at the moment.
Basingstoke have beaten Reading at the Madejski this season? I must have missed thatmx wrote:"Martin Kuhl has departed his role as Manager of Basingstoke Town"
One point (against us at our ground)from 6 games in the league, and an early exit against lower league opposition in the FA Cup, so no real surprise.

A sorry state of affairs, thought Martin would go onto big managerial heights.mx wrote:"Martin Kuhl has departed his role as Manager of Basingstoke Town"

I saw the Chairman made a well timed tweet asking for patience and a bit of togetherness. Wonder if he's regretting the sackings over the summer?Old Man Andrews wrote:Chalfont St Peter 2-2 Bracknell Town – 'Robins' 2 behind inside 20’ were level by HT
Have it on good authority the manager would have been in serious trouble had Bracknell lost.
Think he might be regretting giving the job to somebody so young and relatively inexperienced. As mentioned before Bracknell Town do not want to go up this season, it would be a massibe ballache but they want to see good football and solid performances.Hoop Blah wrote:I saw the Chairman made a well timed tweet asking for patience and a bit of togetherness. Could be an interesting week then. A trip to FC Romania which I believe is a game Bracknell would be expected to win followed by a home tie in the Trophy v Coggeshall on SaturdayOld Man Andrews wrote:Think he might be regretting giving the job to somebody so young and relatively inexperienced. With Cooper-Clark, Bignall and Minhas up top we will always score goals but we look leaky as f*ck at times. Been really unimpressed with the midfield so far this season, biggest problem for me.
A loss to FC Romania at home is a sackable offence. They have lost all their games thus far.Sutekh wrote:Could be an interesting week then. ...well maybe.... if you ignore the 4-2 win over Northwood and the draw picked up at WareOld Man Andrews wrote: A loss to FC Romania at home is a sackable offence. They have lost all their games thus far.

I have struggled to keep up to date with the Basingstoke saga but whats the latest ??
He's always struck me as a good lad, and he's well connected and did a great job with Hartley so it doesn't come as a surprise to see him take over. I hope he gets a fair crack at turning things round.mx wrote:Hot news off Twitter....

They got a decent draw at Totton the other day, but are still bottom of the table with 2 points from 6 games. Sorry state of affairs - hopefully things will pick up - I don't know how their new ground is coming along, but their cash flow can't be brillaint at the moment.
