Minnesota United have apparently made an offer for Vito Mannone, making him MLS's highest paid goalkeeper in 2020. However, there is interest from clubs in the EFL Championship and Italy

Obvs be good to get him off the books, and a small fee to go with it would be handy

See if they can take Aluko whilst they are at it

I haven't seen him play under Bowen yet either, but by all accounts he did well on Saturday.
I reckon on his two starts under Bowen, he’s been pretty decent. Before that, he did look pretty average but he’s a better shield for the defence than Rino is I think

It’s a difficult one. Rino, Ejaria and Swift are all still better midfielders than Pele but not sure that’s the best trio of players to start
Yeah. Rino is wasted on mainly screening, but has to do it when alongside Ejaria and Swift. Likewise, without either there's a lack of movement and invention for him to play off.

I think Pele, Rino, Swift / Ejaria is our best balanced midfield, but leaving out one of the twinkle toes for one of the grafters is a big call.

Think it's one we're likely to see in the next few games given Swift is out for a few weeks. Ejaria was ill rather than injured so would expect him back again.

I think that by January it maybe irrelevant I think by then we will be around the 30-32 point mark we are well on our way to safety. but not enough to be challenging for the play offs so the club will not invest heavily. I think the senior dead weight such as Aluko and Mannone will move on but the rest will be done in the summer. Wouldn't be surprised if the only business we did was make Ejaria a permenant move and maybe have a pop at signing Miazga permanently. Cant see many leaving at all or coming in Baker maybe the only good shout.

Look forward to the summer and hope that we keep all the gems that could get us promoted next year.

This has already been done and it is happening in the summer.

might have a go at signing Miazga then point was they are more likely to permanently sign one of the loan players than bring in someone new.

Wouldn't be surprised to see a genuine winger come in.

I’d be very surprised if we see a genuine winger come in.

I'd be surprised if we use the quality wingers that we have.

Am I not right in saying that even if he leaves on a free we would be due compensation for training him?

Yes, but it would be a nominal (small) amount, rather then what we probably could get by selling him.

Wasn't the issue last Summer that we didn't offer much?

They’re contemplating the deal at the moment

What is the opposite of a feeder club?
I think the boy will either end up as a star (that we have yet to see) or at our " opposite to feeder " club Oxford United alongside
Fosu
Dickie
Henry
