Well replica kits are quite tacky. Can see it not being a Cheltenham thing.Wycombe Royal wrote:5 miles away from where I live, so no excuse for me not to attend. Not all that surprising for a club with a very small fanbase. A hardcore of 3000 which, at a push, can get to 4500 for bigger games. The last time there were 7000 people inside Whaddon Road was for Everton in the FA Cup 11 years ago.Wycombe Royal wrote:5 miles away from where I live, so no excuse for me not to attend. Had a really nice long weekend away in Cheltenham this summer. Lido swims every morning, bit of steam tren action. Lovely stuff.
indeed no trains. reckon i will drive and stay the night in a hotel as it's a beautiful part of the world. I'm off work anyway so a leisurely drive up in the morning and have a look around the city and surroundings. same on Saturday. Might even take the whole fam with me. People do like a good moan don't theyZammo wrote:Was gonna go until I saw it was an evening kick-off. Assume zero trains back?
You can actually get back to Didcot or Reading but you have an 8 minute connection at Swindon so is doable but tight.Zammo wrote:Was gonna go until I saw it was an evening kick-off. Assume zero trains back ?

The connecting service at Swindon is usually held if the incoming train is late. I do this journey a lot and it's standard procedure.RG30 wrote:You can actually get back to Didcot or Reading but you have an 8 minute connection at Swindon so is doable but tight.Zammo wrote:Was gonna go until I saw it was an evening kick-off.
