Hob Nob Anyone?

For a laugh, I thought it would be good fun to get ai to predict who we might sign over the summer, try and jump start some interest.

I asked CharGPT 5.4 mini, Google Gemini Fast and Claude Opus 4.6 to predict 3 incoming signings for the summer. Here's what they had to say.

ChatGPT - a bit of rambling about what might happen if we sell Savage and Knibbs (lol), it suggested:

Steve Seddon (AFC Wimbledon)
Favour Fawunmi (Stoke)
Eoghan O'Connell (Barnsley)

Gemini:

Jason Kerr (Wigan)
Callum Marshall (west ham - loan)
Kane Vincent-Young (Colchester)

Claude:

Unnamed player released by Everton - it bemoaned a paywall for being unable to tell who this player was
Unnamed attacking midfielder
Unnamed centre back

All in all, not particularly interesting in and of itself, but it will be interesting to see if we do have any interest in these players.

ChatGPT said we should expect to lose Savage and (for some reason, probably old training data) Knibbs. It thought we would keep wing, Abrefa and Dorset and look to build the squad around them.

Gemini thought we would lose wing and Kelvin E. It seemed to think we are at risk of losing both to relegated ex-championship teams.

Claude thought we would lose Savage, Kelvin E and Marriott, leaving is very light up front. It did suggest that as we had multiple loan players last year, it felt we should look to use loan players in attacking roles.

This is only evidence that chat bots and AI is a load of old Bollox and has no use at all for recruitment of players.
