Ok did some digging he’s going to AC Horsens 2 million in installments , small fee upfront, so not much to reinvest in his replacement unfortunately

Probably the right sort of move for him tbh. Probably won't be as big a jump as the Championship, but still an improvement on League One. He'd probably be more likely to get consistent game time in the Danish league too.

Newly promoted side. €2m (even in instalments) is probably as good as we could ask for.
It's also the sort of club he'd be likely to move on from easily in the event he does well, so that could help us with any sell on clauses down the line.

Seems out of the blue, didn't expect anyone to come in for him

I know I'm in the minority but I'm sad he's going. Sadly under used and badly used when he was in the team

Has great potential if used correctly I agree.

Possibly - but he's been around the first team for 3 years and if he has been badly used that's 3 managers and numerous coaches that haven't worked out his best position so you'd probably have to question the player's ability to an extent.

I agree with this. He's never had a serious run in the team, especially in a specific position or role.
Hopefully a move to Denmark will allow him to play consistently in a comfortable system for him.
I think he will end up being one of those players who needed to move from us in order to progress their careers. Arguably it needed to happen at least a season ago.

€2m for WiFi
Was Nicky Hammond passing by at the time?
Danish 2nd division seems a bit of a waste though but at least he hasn’t gone to another L1 club.
Wonder what the terms are, 8 installments of €250k paid every 6 months perhaps?
Might be able to put that out for a decent striker, on similar terms.

They’ve just been promoted to the top division

At least we won’t have to listen to Mick Gooding mispronouncing his name anymore.

Is it installments or add ons based on certain criteria?

It’s €2m (£1.7m) in installments apparently. No clue whether that includes addons or not or whether there’s a sell on.
Perhaps Mr Brogue knows some more in that area

Leam said in his YT season preview interview that he expects another '4 or 5' arrivals....
Assuming he was factoring in Kelvin's departure (& others), that's still a fair few bodies....
And slightly different from the message given early on in the window...
Given the vibe & business done so far, I wouldn't be surprised if 2 new Central Strikers came in, one premium ( for L1) & one promising Prem loan...
Just vibes, but there's a big gap now with Marriott's injuries & losing Kelvin E

Why would he bother to bring in 4 or 5 arrivals? Last season his excuses was "There wasn't a full preseason" was the reason why injuries and players not being match fit in April/May. Perhaps the excuses will be the same next Spring.

Any more light on this one, €2m or the more depressing €750k.
Any add-on/sell on clauses?
