Re: Next seasons kit choice?

Whilst I always prefer out kits with more white than blue, think the new kit looks smart.

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

Yeah, it's not time to hit the panic button just yet.

Especially after a couple of small positive bits of news which has come out after over the last couple of weeks.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Blackpool (h)

Not going to add much more but to note that this is the first time we have finished a season with a win since the season we made the Champ Play-off Final under Stam. We won at Burton on 7th May 2017 - not won on the final day since until Saturday. The last time we won the last league game, and had ...

Re: WiFi reception at the ground

paultheroyal O2 never works until you are down to the roundabout.

Vodafone occasionally works inside the ground.

I used to have access to the hospitality wife within ground but that now seems to be turned off.

Found out about your at home wife?

Re: Next seasons kit choice?

I guess I have some mild interest.

The best thing, if the kits are being released soon, is that would be another significant marker in the takeover progressing nicely. After early ST info and the news about new catering company.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Blackpool (h)

Nope, strongest team for me - going into the summer on a win feels important to me - if we don't win, then we are 3 without a win since Rovers - fed up of us getting over a line (when we do) and immediately failing to accumulate any more points. Agreed, plus I think the players who have saved us de...

Not sure about the semis but remember us playing Bayern II at Wycombe and losing 1-0. Thought that was at the Madejski? Nopp - Adams Park: https://www.google.com/search?q=reading+u23+v+bayern+munich+II&rlz=1C1GCEA_enDE948DE948&oq=reading+u2&gs_lcrp=EgZjaHJvbWUqBggBEEUYOzIGCAAQRRg5MgYIAR...

Re: The Academy/Development squads watch thread 2015//16

Don't know what the rules are, but we've secured a play-off spot in Premier League 2 and can qualify for the Premier League International Cup with a win over Man City on Monday(?). The International Cup would give our U21s a minimum of four matches against foreign opposition. PSV have participated ...

Collins was appointed last summer and despite several positive spells throughout the season, recent results have left the board of directors feeling that a change is need...

From Despair To Where? It would be a happy by product of losing but I want us to end this of all seasons on a high, particularly at home.

Re: Goal of the Season

Kelvin v Cambridge. Yeah, same. The shot itself is on a par with a lot of the best strikes. What makes it is the first touch from a crisp pass that creates the space to make shot, catching the defence unawares. Beautiful. Wing vs Port Vale second, because he's so far out and being challenged. Azeez...

4) Improve matchday experience Bring back programmes, involve local suppliers, get rid of Compass and their appalling food. Think of initiatives to make matchday more enjoyable and bring fans back. In addition to this point, I'd say basic stadium maintenance should be included in that list. Things ...

Re: Champions League, Europa League & Europa Conference League 23/24

can I throw in another interesting law of the game that people often don't know? If a game goes to a penalty shoot out and one of the teams has had a red card during the match, the other team has to nominate a player that is excluded from the shoot out so that in case it goes way into sudden death ...

I had forgotten that it's this time of the season you get headlines of 'x ruled out for season', which means they are out for 2 weeks. Also x hasn't scored for 5 months or x haven't won a game for 5 months, but includes the summer break and weeks where only 1 game, or no game has been played and ac...

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

Whilst true, I also very much doubt that any catering company knowing the issues with payment Compass have experienced would enter into and happily announce a partnership with the club without some kind of confirmation that the financial situation at the club is about to markedly improve. That's ho...
