Re: MATCHWATCH : Nottingham Forest (a) sponsored by things can only get better

Gunter’s has a decent season. Barrow. Moore’s been ok That’s be my 3 at the moment with Barrow #1 for me Gunter Barrow Moore And I really can't see any other names being considered other than perhaps Bodvarsson if he gets more game time etc. Mine is the same. I think Gunter has really done a great ...

Re: The fans alternative course of action.

Stam with some more comments on the fans: https://www.inyourarea.co.uk/news/opponents-are-using-reading-fc-fans-to-beat-us-says-stam/ He sort of has a point, it just comes across rather clumsily He should just stop talking about the supporters now, it isn't doing him any favours. Obviously if he is...

If we are going to be shit, at least want a half decent match, and I thought it was

Re: MATCHWATCH : Nottingham Forest (a) sponsored by things can only get better

Denver Royal's arrogance and holier than thou attitude aside he has a point. Our first half display was very good in comparison to how it has been in recent games and naturally the players reverted to type in the second half under extreme pressure from Forest who are a team that has a lot of quality...

Invite pressure for 45 minutes and you normally get punished. Can't be too hard on the team though, I've been happy with the improved commitment and desire.

Hasn’t spread to joey though has it? He is untouchable seemingly

Joey can't be dropped. He's there to give us all hope we can still make it in the professional football game.

Re: Alternative to STAR?

I would say though, that given how little the supporter's voice is listened to these days - it might be better to at least present a united front on the issues you can get a consensus on. Otherwise, you're just another opinion that's even easier to ignore. Away from the politics though I'd like to ...

Re: Who could replace Stam?

Fair play to Wigan Daily Star reporting Stam will be sacked if we lose tonight. Based on what exactly I’m not sure I don't think a club pay for a 4 day training camp in Spain only to sack the manager the following week, doesn't add up at all and I don't buy it. I think we are stuck with Stam regard...

Re: The Non - League thread

Planning on doing one of the Vase ties this weekend as well. Either going to Melksham or Bracknell. Bracknell will be the better game I think, but its not a 'tick'. What is the capacity at Bracknell? Cant be much more than 1500 surely there is very little room around the pitch? Might be an old fash...

Re: Alternative to STAR?

Saw something on Twitter earlier by the Reading FC Change Group. Not sure who they are or how legit it is though. They seem to be massively against STAR. Thanks I will go take a look. I am not hugely against STAR btw, but it would be madness to think they represent every fans views so a secondary g...

Re: Alternative to STAR?

Not knocking STAR, they have done a great job at times, but understandably not everyone agrees with their position all the time and I wondered if it might be useful for fans to have an alternative voice. Was wondering how many people would be interested in an alternative to STAR? R eading S upporte...

Re: The Non - League thread

Windsor are taking a supporters’ coach to Stockton on a Saturday for the FA Vase Qtr Final. There are about 20 seats still available. It would be a shame not to fill it, so if anyone is interested let me know and I will give you contact details. Coach leaves Stag Meadow at 7am, costs £20 and will b...

Re: Who could replace Stam?

I'm still pro Stam. I recon hell turn this around at Forrest. But let's say he were to leave, now that's a toughie. In an ideal world, you'd get someone like Roberto Martinez. How long did he keep a struggling Wigan side in the premiership? He knows how to fight relegation. I actually thought they ...

Re: The Non - League thread

Thatcham 2-2 Windsor Not a bad game on a somewhat difficult surface. With the big FA Vase games coming up next weekend both teams rested a few. Windsor took the lead twice but both times that only lasted 2 minutes. Hard fought game, decent crowd, quite a few Reading badges on view. How many giving ...
