Re: Pauno out

Regardless of the injuries, that is still a decent team he is putting out. Lets be honest, we were battered and the attacking instinct non-existent. Its the manor of defeat and style of play the problem and its not getting any better. Regardless of injuries, our form over the past 12 months is pret...

Re: Injury watch 2021/22

I would bring Moore back in a game like this, maybe 5 across the back. I also remember his point saving goal line clearance V Forest and last min of game header at Brum to save a goal (which prob didn't show up on the iffy one camera streams some of the more annoying posters watch)...3 points saved....

Re: The Academy/Development squads watch thread 2015//16

I've no idea how those marks per league are calculated....maybe its on a sliding scale once you've been in the Prem a while like McCarthy. I don't think Antonio counts either as he didn't come through the academy.

Only Boro and Crewe ahead of us outside the Prem

Re: FA cup 3rd round draw

Stats wise its a champ club...nearly 40% probability. We need to avoid a mid table club who may put out a strong side (like Luton last year) as no one else in the top 2 tiers will take it seriously until the quarters. Sad in a way, back in the early 70's when I stated following football, the FA Cup ...

Re: 150 years in pictures

I started going in early 1971 and Holiday was being played then when the team came out. The single was a double A side, I've just listened to the flip side "The Kid" on you tube and can now remember that being played at the end of the game.

Re: Relegation

I can't see us being close to going down even if our current points ratio drops off a bit. Derby have too much to do needing upper play-off form to stay up. Barnsley only have 12 points, there must be very few sides that have stayed up with that total 20 games. Peterboro are nearest to us but just d...

Re: Pauno out

He's doing a bad job and we would absolutely not be on promotion form without injuries. We started the season badly with relatively few and our one good spell came with plenty. In the first game against Stoke we named a bench of only 5 players, Meite was already confirmed out for most of the season...

Re: Reading FC Womens World

Shame about the gate, less than 800, I'd go if I was local.

I've watched bits and pieces on BBC/Sky and the standard is decent now compared to even a couple of years ago....its a shame, won't be easy attracting players in the future if the town don't support them.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Nottingham Forest (h)

That exemplifies my ire at Ejaria. Space outside with the option of a 1 on 1 vs a defender or time to cross. He stops, waits, watches, checks back. Second defender has time to get in, and the three players we had in the box waste their good runs because he just stops everything and ignores them. Th...

Re: Andy Carroll

Pepe the Horseman Obviously hope it works out, and there's a quality player in there, but I'd be amazed if we get more than 10 games out of him.

Well, that's 10 more than our strikers had contributed pre the Brum game.

He's at Bearwood so this is obvs happening.

Its all about staying up every season now given the money the top sides are throwing at it.

Luckily we may have enough points already given the form of the bottom two.

Re: Injury watch 2021/22

Is Clarke injured? As far as I can tell only one person tweeted or whatever, I have read the match report on the club website, it says Clarke came on at half-time and one other sub (Campbell) was used for the last 10 minutes. If Clarke was injured why wasn't he subbed? if he was in a plaster cast, ...

Re: Relegation

I asked earlier but was not aware of a reply. Any more teams with points deductions incoming? Hull City perhaps? Aren’t Forest having to be careful? Birmingham I think are through their dodgy patch. There are suggestions Bournemouth could have issues if they fail to go up esp. given the way they sp...
