Re: Worst Reading Player

If you suggested anyone other than Malcolm Swain then you are too young to have seen him "play"

Re: Worst ever Reading FC X1

Sorry to say that any team that doesn't include Malcolm Swain has no credibility. Anyone who doesn't remember him is simply a newbie :D

This is the perfect case for stats. Stats are facts. In yer face facts. About a million times better than people bitching that every government on the planet has gone mad (but they know better) "There are three kinds of lies: lies, damn lies and statistics" Oh a QUOTE! MUST be true. Indee...

Re: BFTG QPR

Decent game, decent entertainment, decent performance and a decent result. Bit surprised QPR are up near the playoffs as I thought they were fairly poor but we passed the ball well and had the majority of possession. Swift and Rinomhota were our best players but was disappointed by the front three w...

Re: Loudest ever away fans at Mad Stad?

Oddly, Chesterfield always comes to mind. I can't remember which game it was, either 1999 or 2001, or maybe both, but they were one of the loudest I've come across, particularly for a small club.

Re: Parking in Bristol

Barney We parked at Bedminster Cricket Club last season. Five pounds if I recall, and close to the ground.
No issues at all.

Thanks. That's the plan then.

Thought Mendes looked lovely when he came on, and probably should have come on earlier in my view

You're obviously a big fan of Mendes :)

I'm 63 years old and I'm not ashamed to say that I wept in the Wembley concourse on Monday. I've been supporting and going since I was 11. Another team? Never!

Ramadan

I wonder if Ali Al Habsi was fasting yesterday as we are currently in the Muslim holy month of Ramadan. If he was he will have not eaten or drunk anything since daybreak and I wonder if that affected his performance? Would he have got closer to any of the penalties? Probably not.

Re: Team for Fulham (h)

We will play five at the back again - we need to negate the attacking threat from Fulham's fullbacks. Ilori in for McShane and VDB in for Obita (Blackett moves to wing back) if he's not fit.

How about some sort of version of this. It seems to fit on so many levels, has a great chorus and Brian can sing it (just)!

Re: The where the F*ck did it all go wrong thread

Clarke won't resign, we're all he has now. His stock is pretty much worthless after his Fulham flirtation. Let's face it, the team have lost form, Clarke has lost over 50% of the supporters trust with most of us never being able or willing to trust him again. Every marginal loss or draw will be met...
