Re: Generic clubs in financial crisis Thread

I've played football on Westfields' pitch.

A sad day for the club I've watched play more times than any other (I think).

Re: Time for fans to stand up and be counted

OUT. With the cost of getting there each week (from Kent/Gloucester) and the fact I now work 2 out of 3 Saturdays it's rather a lot of money for something I can't use every week. Had a season ticket for the last 3 seasons and don't really want to give it up, but it's probably for the best for now. W...

Re: It sucks sometimes

Retiring the shirt number of a player who made 1 substitute appearance in a League Cup game a couple of years ago seems a bit much.

Re: Wigan Away

I imagine we probably won't sell out - anyone know if they will be available on the day? I'm going to watch St Helens v Wigan Warriors at 1215, and then try to get to the DW in time for this. Would rather buy when we get there rather than commit and then end up not making it in time!

Re: 2011/12 SEASON BETTING THREAD

Pepe the Horseman Bit of advice Wiz. Higher stakes, fewer games.

Gone for 7 games tonight. Liverpool, Hull, Celtic, Coventry, Dundee Utd, Guiseley, Altrincham. £5 wins £257, fingers crossed again.

Starting to worry I may be developing a bit of a problem already though.

Re: 2011/12 SEASON BETTING THREAD

Had a 19 team acca tonight, after the success of my 8 team one (£5 stake - £661 win) at the weekend. 11 of them won, and most of the rest were draws. But Reading and Crewe let me down rather. But Saturday was my first ever accumulator, so it was a positive start. Hoping for more good things this Sat...

Re: Will you renew your season ticket for 2014/15?

Probably not bothering. It's just not really fun anymore. Costs me roughly £30 a week in travel on top of the ticket price, which I feel could be better used elsewhere.

Re: Yeovil (Home)

Apparently we are charging Yeovil fans a different price depending on whether they are season ticket holders, do we normally do this? Don't really see why Reading would care whether an away fan has a season ticket or not.
