Standing and singing at Wembley

Having experienced two playoff finals in quick successsion with Exeter City I have some experience of this.

Both times club brings many 'Grecians' who have never been to a game.

1st time: Their is no real fan organisation of where people who want to sing will be, the result being that singers are in the midst of non singers and the atmosphere is flat.

2nd time: Singing fans organise to attempt to buy tickets behind the goal in the lower tier if they want to sing, leading to singer/non singer segregation and a much better atmosphere. (Coincidentally this is also the game City win clinching promotion).

I suggest this is also done by us.

Obvioulsy it's limited by when people can buy tickets and royalty points etc, but I'd suggest something is attempted otherwise everyone who wants to sing could well be surrounded by 10 non singers. No problem with non singers, but if you want to sing with others, I'd suggest following the ECFC example.

IIRR the tickets for the lower tier when we went in the bs conference were all the same price, and cheap. If this is not the case now, singers should as always attempt to buy in the cheapest section, lower tier, to the left of the goal.

No - they'll be the £64 ones - then a tier up will be £76 with the £98 ones on the half way line

Last time I was at Wembley I was up in the 3rd tier, the view was ok but it was a long way away and the gradient is scary.

I think I'll aim for the lower tier this time.

I think I paid £15 last time. I know that was conference but £64 seems extortionate for a league were ticket prices average between £20 and £35.

£52 for the first few rows of the lower tier. £64 for most.

Ive been thinking about this ever since i got home last night! Has anyone any ideas of how this can work to try and get as many "standing and Singing" together as possible!

The suggestion on Twitter and other places is that the singing area will be lower tier, centre, behind the goal.

We didn't have all this twatter and facegimp when I went to Wembley with us in 1995 and the atmosphere was amazing, until well, you know. Hairs on the neck moments singing "Super Reading..." tears to the eyes stiuff that day, until well, you know, real reasons for tears in the eyes.

Having stood there for england games it can be a disappointing view from there. We're aiming for middle centre if we can get it. Costly but it's not like we do this every year.

Lower tier behind the goal is definitely the best area for singing/standing. That's where the singers are at England games. Upper tier is too far away to create a decent atmosphere.
