Clyde1998
Clyde1998 3-0 Peterborough :D

Full-time - so the max target is down to 4 (6).

No, we could still finish level with Cheltenham on 53, so if you want to ignore GD it’s still 5.

Port Vale and Burton can only get 52 so 53 is enough, even ignoring GD.

With Cheltenham and Burton still to play each other, Port Vale's total is the one to look at.

Which can be achieved this Saturday with a win and defeats for Cheltenham and Burton.

It's over. Burton & Vale can't lose another game and still go past us.

Agree, the win on Tuesday sealed it for me.

It's a question of when not if, but I'm going to Barnsley on Saturday so I selfishly want it to be then. Most underwhelming would be if it happens in next week's midweek fixtures when we're not playing.

After Oldham’s great escape in the 92/93 premiership season I’d never take anything as a given until we’re mathematically safe. I am pretty sure Oldham were 9 points behind Palace with 3 games left and survived. I remember thinking we were safe in 2007/8 and that ended badly.

Obviously, I am very confident we’ll be in League One next season, but football can always throw up a curveball.

Never say never, but it would take two of Cheltenham, Vale and Burton to pull off a miracle, and even then it may well be at the expense of Shrewsbury or Cambridge and not us.

The way the players and the staff celebrated after the game on Tuesday night, they clearly think that they have done enough to stay up.

Its not happening.

Vale play at Bolton next weekend
Cheltenham play Lincoln, Peterborough and Stevenage to finish
Burton & Cheltenham play each other next Tues.

And Fulham were mathematically relegated with 20 minutes to go at Man City in ‘08

But you’re right, it’s not happening

All these people pissing their pants and thinking we could still go down is quite frankly hilarious, we are effectively 10 points clear with a few to play, I know we`ve had a few oxf*rd ups in recent years but you have Vale that have won 2 out of 19 needing to win 3 out of 4, and Burton who have lost 8 of their last 10 games to make up 10 points if we lose all 3.
Calm the fuck down, we are safe.

You're a bit simple aren't you windermere.

No one is worried. No one thinks we're going down. A few people have said it isn't yet impossible. This is factually true.

Jeez.

How many times do I revert to childish personal insults when I disagree with a post that you`ve done twice in the last couple of weeks? that`s so brave of you.
And you have the nerve to criticise Nath.
