Straight 50/50 split of the gate isn’t it?

For info, Everton fans paid £46 on Friday. If so, then out

There'll probably be more Reading fans at Old Trafford for that game than were at the Madejski for the game yesterday.

Terrible draw, other than for the finances, but it'll still be a drop in the ocean.

Haven't we played them since then? Under Gomes?

On the bright side the chances are we can probably play a game of “spot the ManU first teamer”. And you just know the cash will be boosted with the BBC or ITV fawning all over United so what’s the betting it gets switched to a Friday or Monday night? If it’s aMonday game than the Sheff U game will have to be rearranged for later in the season.

History of this game is that Reading have played ManU in 15 previous FA Cup ties and won just once (long ago when teams took the cup seriously).

8 of those games have been at Old Trafford of which Reading have drawn two, scoring 5 and conceding 21. Last game was the 2-0 defeat in 2019, before that, the 4-0 under Stam.
