Did anyone have match abandoned in Snowball's prediction league?

It won't get liquidated, it will get put into administration. Which means it gets sold.

The longer this continues, the more leagues we drop, players/assets we sell and reputational damage, the more chance there is that no one wants to buy us. That's the fear. We have to accept the pain now for the sake of future Reading fans. I rather us go out fighting than fade into nothing.

You understand Dai Young can liquidate us if he wants? As the owner of the company that entirely his right.

It's so dangerous having 1000 uninformed RFC fans doing protests labouring under the misapprehension that somehow they can bring about administration against the will of the clubs biggest creditor, Dai Young.. He can just shut up shop if he can't be bothered.

If you want the club to go into administration protest outside Compass Catering until they petition for the clubs administration for unpaid debts.

He can only liquidate the club if he pays back all debts 100%. Otherwise he has a legal obligation to sell the club.

Close to 100% of the debs of the club are to Dai Yong.

He can liquidate the club by liquidating the assets and use those receipts to pay off Compas or whoever else is owed money. Selling one player this month could pay off all other debts.

When you liquidate a comlany you break it up and sell off all the assets and pay off the creditos. That's what a liquidation is.

WestYorksRoyal By persuading Dai to accept offers. Agree it's a complicated, difficult situation. It all comes back to Dai and his cronies for creating this dilemma.

It's NOT suddenly going to persuade a man in China to accept offers that he may have had in front of him for months as he doesn't care enough any more. Equally it's not going to persuade prospective buyers to suddenly make worthwhile offers for the club either.

Some numpty rang into BBCFM to say they wanted the FL to change their rules so owners like this couldn't get control of clubs

Club can't even afford to put the the floodlights on :D

You don't think that if Dai/Pang face the threat of the club being expelled from the EFL that wouldn't make them more likely to accept offers?

No.

No club, no point protecting the stadium from redevelopment.

How did they decide on the score line?

Standard result for unplayed/abandoned/postponed games I believe.

Hopefully this will bring things to a head one way or another. As the owner is clearly a lunatic, I don’t see what else the fans could do other than the acton taken today as this will get the EFLs attention.

As to what happens next it seems to me that the only option the EFL have is to give the owner 28 days to sell the club or we are ejected from L1 this season. I am wondering - as these are almost unprecedented circumstances - whether if Dai can somehow be forced to sell up by the summer, we could be allowed to restart in L2 next season with new owners rather than the cl kicked out of the league entirely.

I guess only time will tell what happens next.

Well done to all the fans that went on the pitch. It was a peaceful protest and everyone I spoke to was just sad that this is what it’s come to. Really proud to be a Reading today and a lot of respect to the Vale fans.

FA website

. In all cases where the Management Committee are satisfied that a Match was abandoned owing to the conduct of one Team or its Club member(s) they shall award the points for the Match to
the opponent.

It's how it works according to the FA
