I haven't even considered thinking about this until we're past the finish line.

Would like Aldershot to come out of the conference playoffs so we may play them in the pizza car cup. Wimbledon and Crawley would be easy away days if they go promoted to L1, so them up. QPR and Birmingham going down to L1 would be good for similar reasons.

Personally I'd prefer not to be playing in this league. It's shit and the glamour of the new away days has worn off for me already. But I'd rather not see us in L2 either.

I'm hoping Barrow come up for a new ground to tick off and another football and lake district weekend.

Definitely up for a schlepp to Barrow. I was also at that game in 72 at EP when vouchers were issued for the Arsenal cup game. 52 years ago. Yikes.

Currently we'll definitely be playing:

Relegated from the Championship (1/3)
Rotherham United

Staying in League One (7/17)
Bristol Rovers
Charlton Athletic
Exeter City
Leyton Orient
Northampton Town
Wigan Athletic
Wycombe Wanderers

Promoted from League Two (2/4)
Stockport County
Wrexham

Mansfield should join the list on Tuesday if they beat Accrington at home. A point would be enough really given their vastly superior goal difference. Hoping franchise fc crash and burn in the POs.

Was the term "plastic" or "gloryhunter" or a 70s equivalent a thing then?

Ab-so-bloody-luteley.
Smart move by the club, IMHO. No faffing around with loyalty points, just get an extra 7000 through the turnstiles.
FTR, I suppose I started as a bit of a glory hunter. One of my earliest attandances at EP was to have the utter privilege of seeing the Holy Trinity playing against us in the Watney Cup. (I'm no United fan, btw).

Huddersfield relegated barring favourable results on the final day, plus a huge goal difference swing. They’ll be joined by one of Birmingham, Plymouth, Sheff Wed or Blackburn.

The League Two play-offs will be: Milton Keynes vs Crawley and Doncaster vs Crewe.

Hoping Norwich beat Birmingham next week. I fancy them to struggle next season. Huddersfield won't find league one easy either. I want an easier league next season to help us challenge.

On paper Rotherham, Peterborough and Barnsley could be serious promotion contenders as could Charlton.

Brum only themselves to blame after pulling another Zola on Eustace. While I hope they go down and stay down, I can't help but think they'll be mega-favourites to bounce back up.

So the known sides to play now are:

  1. Rotherham
  2. Lincoln
  3. Blackpool
  4. Northampton
  5. Bristol Rovers
  6. Wigan
  7. Wycombe
  8. Exeter
  9. Shrewsbury
  10. Burton
  11. Cambridge
  12. Orient
  13. Stevenage
  14. Charlton
  15. Wrexham
  16. Stockport
  17. Mansfield

Huddersfield and Birmingham most like to join from the second tier plus any 3 from Peterborough, Bolton, Oxford and Barnsley and any 1 from Crawley, Doncaster, Crewe and Franchise in tier 4.

Going to be as hard a season as any next time round, making the play offs would be a real achievement.

Brum in L1 would be interesting. Very ambitious, wealthy owners but as we have learnt that's no guarantee of success. But if they may better decisions, they could blow everyone out of the water financially.
