Rumour: Lisandro Semedo
19 year old winger released from Sporting Lisbon this summer. Been told we've snapped him up on a free - from the same guy I heard about Carriço from before it became public.

We don't normally sign 19 year olds at all. Who was the last, Ethan Gage? Cameron Edwards?
Seems a very strange one though, we have two good 19 year old wingers. If this is true then I can only assume he's perceived as better than Stacey and Fosu, which would practically make him a first teamer.

Yeah, he did. Charles confirmed this yesterday, he's been signed for the u21s.

Only thing you seem to got slightly incorrect is that Sporting wanted to keep him but he wouldn't sign a contract. (according to getReading)

Asked a Portuguese Benfica supporting mate, who in turn asked a Sporting supporting m8 about him.
Was one of Sportings best young players, had high hopes for him, dissappointed he has gone and assumes there was a falling out somewhere. Has played all across midfield and up front for them, is very confident and really goes at the opposition chasing them down, great energy, doesnt stop running. Could be a real star in the future.
Sounds very positive. Just one persons opinion though.
