Just Liverpool in the 100% club now after a frankly woeful goalless draw between West Ham and Chelsea

Liverpool's next 2 games are Chelsea A and City H, if they come through those still 100% they could well get to 13 games

Can't believe I'm going to say this but I'll be a Chelsea fan - for one week only

But it is Liverpool, so they will probably lose to Burnley or Cardiff or something afterwards

With Liverpool's draw, 13 wins is safe for another season.

With 13 wins safe for another year we'll have to wait some time before getting any idea whether there's going to be any challenge to 106

The 106 record is relies on every team dropping at least 32 points, so averaging 2.3 points per game.

So far :
Championship - both Middlesbrough and Sheff Utd are averaging 1.92
League One - Portsmouth are averaging 2.36
League Two - Lincoln are averaging 2.29

I like how after 13 games the championship teams with the best chance of beating 106 have already lost as many games as we did that whole season

The 106 record relies on every team dropping at least 32 points, so averaging 2.3 points per game.

So far :
Championship - Leeds (16 dropped), Middlesbrough (16) and Sheff Utd (16) are averaging 1.86, West Brom (15) averaging 1.85
League One - Portsmouth (11) are averaging 2.23 (already dropped below the asking rate - if we have a REALLY bad winter is it going to be decided on Duckworth-Lewis-Stern), Sunderland (13) are up to 2.27
League Two - Lincoln (12) are averaging 2.2

To add to Silver Fox's observation, the top Championship teams have already dropped half the number of points, in 14 games, that we dropped in the entire season

SpaghettiHoop Sadly, I think Leeds could beat the 106. They are the one team in the country that I would hate to do this. Happy for any other team to beat the record. Just not Leeds.

Jesus wept.

If they'd beaten Bolton and QPR I'd laugh too but they've actually beaten very easily two decent sides,. they could do a Wolves this season.

Currently on for a record breaking 81 point season.

Target 2.33 points per game
Championship : Norwich currently 2.0, need to achieve 2.54 for 28 games
League One : Portsmouth currently 2.28, need 2.36 for 28 games
League Two : Lincoln currently 2.06, need 2.5 for 28 games

None are up with the run rate and still can't work out how Duckworth Lewis Stern would work

Watch out for Man City though.
Currently 2.69, need 2.88 for 25 games - seems unrealistic as the year can only afford to drop three more points

Portsmouth lost last night. Currently the biggest danger with 47pts from 21 games.

Target 2.33 points per game
Championship : Norwich currently 2.05, need to achieve 2.56 for 25 games

League One : Portsmouth currently 2.24, need 2.36 for 25 games
: Sunderland currently 2.16, need 2.44 for 27 games (included because of the games in hand)

League Two : Franchisees currently 2.05, need 2.56 for 25 games
: Lincoln currently 2.05, need 2.54 for 26 games (included because of the game in hand and I can't bring myself to think that the Ronalds can win the division)

Still none are up with the run rate
All teams need to perform better for the rest of the season than they have to date. That's a tall order for any of them

Premier League : Liverpool currently 2.63, need 2.95 for 22 games - in fact, they would have to win the rest of the games as dropping one point obviously means dropping two - doesn't seem very likely

Man City can also theoretically top 106 by winning all remaining games. But, yeah, file under unlikely.

Premier League target 2.82 points per game
Liverpool currently 2.70, need to achieve 2.89 for 18 games (can only drop 1 more)

Football League target 2.33 points per game
Championship :
Leeds currently 1.96, need to achieve 2.75 for 20 games (can only drop 4 more)
Norwich currently 1.88, need to achieve 2.85 for 20 games (can only drop 2 more)
Sheff Utd currently 1.81, need to achieve 2.95 for 20 games (can't drop any more)

League One :
Portsmouth currently 2.24, need to achieve 2.45 for 20 games (can only drop 10 more)
Luton currently 2.00, need to achieve 2.70 for 20 games (can only drop 5 more)
Sunderland currently 2.08, need to achieve 2.55 for 22 games (can only drop 9 more)
Barnsley currently 1.84, need to achieve 2.86 for 21 games (can only drop 2 more)

League Two :
Lincoln currently 2.04, need to achieve 2.62 for 21 games (can only drop 7 more)
The Ronalds currently 1.88, need to achieve 2.81 for 21 games (can only drop 3 more)
Mansfield currently 1.88, need to achieve 2.77 for 21 games (can only drop 4 more)

That's the full list - just 12 left and likely we'll lose a few of those before the end of the month - maybe even one by the weekend
(Doing this at least makes me feel a little better about our current plight)
