Re: Rumour - Alfa Semedo

Been picked up by everyone's favourite, I'm not a journalist anymore but still post like one Courtney Friday. Would offer competition for Laurent and Rino in the more defensive CDM role and has Champ experience, potentially a good loan deal. +/- perhaps free up Rino to go RB if we're stuck? I do bo...

Re: BFT Cardiff iFollow

Kitson comparison is good. I cant say I’ve noticed - does Joao get back and defend as much as Kitson used to? In any case yeah quite similar in many regards.

Re: BFT Cardiff iFollow

Surely we don't yet really know our style of football? One of Bowen's weaknesses was that his plans A, B and C all revolved around Joao, so we were screwed when Joao was injured. This will be a good test of VP to see what he does in terms of setup and style of play when Joao is not available. To go...

Crosses? Reading? You having a laugh? Is he having a laugh? 1) Gillingham pre-season - Head, Olise corner 2) Colchester League Cup - Head, Araruna cross 3) Arguable whether it counts, Colchester League Cup - Feet, Araruna cross from left flicked on, controlled, turned and scored 4) Derby League - F...

Re: BFT Cardiff iFollow

I counted several good crosses from him when were putting roughly no good crosses in per game, so yeah the boy can cross. Some pointed out Obita or Blackett arguably better at crossing, but they've since gone. Blackett could whip a good delivery in with pace. Crossing wise we are generally poor. Pu...

Snowball
Snowflake Royal I'd argue Joao is better at getting on the end of a cross than Puscas anyway.

How many goals has Joao scored from crosses? I presume you mean headers?

Re: Osho

Did Osho play at RB at all in the academy? Tom Holmes did..... Fair enough. I didn't know Osho was a CB in academy. I honestly don't know who played where, all I know is Osho as a full back was impressive. Even ran up the wing non-stop and chucked several great crosses in. If he was being used as a...

Re: BFT Cardiff iFollow

Holmes was alright form the little I saw of him. Certainly one fantastic last minute interception to block a certain goal. No Osho though from what I've seen so far, but it's early. How many times did Osho actually play RB for us? Twice? For some reason Millsy thinks he was the best crossed at the ...

Re: BFT Cardiff iFollow

I dont want to see any write the term "Reality check" after this Watford game. Even if we lose there will be no reality check. We are in a good place and that sort of negative thinking will be punishable by death. Exactly this. It's only a reality check for anyone who genuinely believes t...

Re: Marc McNulty arrested for match fixing

The crime, if one has been committed, would be agreeing to try and get a card in a particular game and taking financial inducement to do so. It does not need to be successful to be a crime. For example, it is still illegal to try and commit fraud even if the fraud fails. This would fall into simila...

Re: BFT Cardiff iFollow

Derby have been consistently awful for three games. And most importantly actually were dire against us. We won't find a much easier game than that. Barnsley had two players sent off and you can't call them in form if they haven't scored a goal or won a match this season. Maybe Barnsley will be good...
