Apparently Swift is injured and won’t play today. Would expect to see Meite come in and Olise move more centrally

Re: Rumour - Rodrigo Riquelme

Made worse by the constant tweets about him and how the club need to announce him. In reality transfers probably take a really long time to complete, but we just don't know about them as early as we knew about this one. i.e. with him being on trial when VP joined, etc.. Wouldn't surprise me if this...

Re: Bowen's Tenure

Did the Dais give us the money for Ilori? I’d honestly forgotten that. My memory is that they announced they were buying the club either during or after the Play Off semi final. The Thais meant the money for Ilori before they bought the club. The next transfer window is obviously key for the club, ...

Re: BFIFollow Brentford

Once again a very strange team selection. I know we’ve lost Joao but why oh why is Swift not playing further forward and Pele playing as a holding midfielder with Rino next to him. We look so weak and soft, and our decision making yesterday was atrocious.

Re: Reading players out of contract in summer 2020

I believe Boye is out of contract in the summer at Torino. Interestingly enough if you listen to podcasts a lot of the players say that some of the stuff he does in training is unbelievable so I can see him staying, especially if we are losing McCleary which looks likely. I think Gunter and either B...

Re: January Transfer Window

Interesting to see that a lot of Stams signing's still aren't at the club and I think that says a lot about the scatter gun transfer policy we had at the time. A couple of quality players rather than the huge squad we had would have made it far better. Stam certainly had more cash than Clarke, McDer...

Re: Rumour - Glenn Murray

He fell out with Dean Smith after the Fulham game. Only has six months left on his contract (feel free to correct me) so is going to be moved on.

Would much rather him than Murray as provides proper competition for Joao.

Re: Rumour - Vito Mannone

apparently rejected the contract offer from Minnesota, from my understanding hes on mega-money, one of, if not the highest-paid player at the club. I wonder if any transfers in are dependant on him leaving this window. https://www.getreading.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/vito-mannone-minnesota...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Blackpool (h) sponsored by cup fever

Pretty certain McIntyre is still injured. I struggle in centre midfield as I'd like Ovie, Adam, Gomes and Swift all to get a rest. Is East back playing for the 23s? If so I'd probably give him some game time. For me I think I would go with Walker Howe Morrison Miazga Obita McCleary Rino East Boye Ol...

Re: Liam Moore Interview Part 2

It’s great to have access like this to the players, no sound bites or PR answers just honesty. Goes under the radar that the club have no people in the room, although I guess questions are pre cleared.

Not many other clubs would allow this so fair play to Moore and Reading for allowing it.

Re: Bristol City (A)

It costs more to watch Reading at Bristol City than any away fan pays to watch their team in the premier league. Surely that’s not right.

Is there nothing STAR can push the club into here?
