Re: BFTG Millwall

The Enfield Royal71 Trouble outside the ground. Glad we did them in and chased them off the mugs. Few punches thrown and we won. We will see them at the den.

Re: CONFIMRED - Mark Bowen

Thoroughly underwhelmed, but to be fair to the guy, if he turns it around after 10 games it will be all forgotten. He’s a brave man though, wouldn’t have had the balls to take it given the circumstances.

Re: Next Manager

Hughes in talks with the owner today according to the one who broke the Gomes out story, his agent was at the training ground today I'm going to go full conspiracy theory on this one: When it looked like we might do well this season, Bowen, as football director, advised Gomes to make changes to the...

Re: Next Manager

Hughes would be a very sensible option and will do very well here, I’m sure if it. I personally would have him over Hughton. I just can’t understand people horror that it will be Hughes. He’s a decent manager. Plenty of experience and hopefully will give the players a kick up the back side they nee...

Re: BFTG Bristol

I know things are not looking good right now but it is too early to panic. We knew we were coming into a run of 6 hard games so it's no surprise that we're not picking up points. However, there are some things that need to change. I really don't think it is massively important what system we play s...

Re: BFTG Bristol

Amazed by the Ejaria hatred on this board. Who laid it on a plate with a lovely pass for puscas to fluff his lines? Who constantly second half ran with the ball through the midfield trying to take the game by the scruff of the neck. He's our only creative midfielder bar a very inconsistent swift, h...

Re: BFTG Bristol

Decided not to go to the game, met up with Mrs SP in the Eldon aka Weather something as she’d not been before. Then went to the Retreat to watch the scores come in on BT score. Lovely afternoon all in all. Not really back from the game in fairness then is it? Game of two halves (again). Tactics wro...

WestYorksRoyal
Hound
Sutekh
Chris Hughton next please.

No brainer really

The question is not whether we should go for him. It's whether we can convince him we're a good option. I actually think we'd be a good fit for him

He's solid and would get us organised. Not sure about how entertaining his football is.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Fulham (h) sponsored by a Yann Kermorgant penalty

Can't see how Gomes can survive this week. He talks bullshit, he's tactically inept, the team are far better than this. oxf*rd around at the back pisses me off, never pressing the opposition pisses me off, no hope of improving under Gomes pisses me off. Strange decision to appoint a nobody manager, ...

Re: BFT whatever the hell that was

Individually, no one was good, but collectively, they were shocking. I think this sums it up. Aside from the period between Blackburn's second goal and our goal, we were completely and utterly tactically outplayed by Blackburn. We very rarely managed to get our attacking players on the ball in dece...

Re: BFT whatever the hell that was

Now calming down a bit, ratings: Rafael - has to be a 4. Not that much to do really but that second goal....... Yiadom - 5, got up an down but didn’t provide much by the way of service which is something you need to as a wing back Moore - 5. Just doesn’t seem to be up to his standard when in the ri...

Re: BFTG - Charlton

Now I've calmed down somewhat here's my take. 1) we lost to a limited but hard working and co ordinated side 2) we showed little in our play that we did our homework on Charlton 3) why the oxf*rd did we let an away side bring a drummer into the ground? We're never allowed drums at away games. It ga...

Re: BFTG - Charlton

Just out of interest, why do so many on here have it in for Club 1871? They've been brilliant all three home games I think. Just seems odd to criticize your own fans who are trying to make a difference. Can’t see any negative comments about them on here, just that they were out sung, which they wer...

Re: BFTG - Charlton

So let me get this straight, Puscas hits the bar, fires wide, and gets through on a one 2 one forcing the keeper to make a good save, and is being branded has dreadful, while Joao does the sum total of fukk all and he`s being marked up higher that Puscas, what strange fans we have. Yes, as others h...

Re: BFTG - Charlton

Thought Charlton were “workmanlike” and will finish mid table. Clearly full of confidence after going up last season and a good start to this. Mirror of Bowyer as a player and very robust, putting it politely. First half we were ok, should have gone ahead. Second half dreadful. Should have gone to a...

Re: Barrow on the way ?

A little confused by the loan. Esp if teams have offered money for him Can only assume there is a sizeable loan fee A little sad to see him go, he has done Reading a big service - arguably keeping us up 2 years in a row. Any bad feeling towards him is massively misjudged imo. But if he fancied a ne...

CountryRoyal Bored of this season already. They can all fcuk off. Toilet. Virginia wouldn’t even get into our U23s. Shocking.

Did you actually go to come up with that opinion?

Re: MATCHWATCH : Sheffield Wednesday (h) sponsored by new season optimism

Sounds the same old problem, light up front as we have been for the last three years. Hate to say it, but bookies don't often get it wrong and without a class striker can see us being in another relegation battle.

Re: BFTG - Bristol City

There have been some great backs-to-the-wall performances recently and Gomes has done a brilliant job but there is so much to be done. We are still terrible at keeping possession to me eyes. Everything is slightly ponderous and lacking in confidence still. We receive the ball then look up, shield t...
