Inter beat Juve 2-0, to go joint top of Serie A. In related news, from March they will no longer go by their current official title of FC Internazionale Milano and will be known as Inter Milan. :| New badge and looking likely they'll replace Pirelli as their shirt sponsors. https://oneftbl-cm...

Re: Rival Watch

Normally need around 72 points per season to hit the top 6 (although only 70 last year), however with the current PPG, 6th place will be on 80 points by the end of the season which does show it’s been a highly competitive season at the top and that there’s a bit of a gap between mid table and PO te...

Re: Rival Watch

This midweek round of fixtures could start to see a gap growing. Of the chasing pack - Bristol have to go to Norwich, whilst Stoke go to Rotherham and Boro head to an improving Forest. Could easily see all 3 dropping points and with Barnsley travelling to Watford, if we and Watford both win - then ...

Re: European Leagues Thread 2012/2013

Luka Jovic scored 25 goals in 54 games for Frankfurt. Earned a move to Madrid on the back of that. Had a nightmare there with 2 in 21 games for Real. Returned to Frankfurt on loan. Came of the bench v Schalke after 62mins. Scores twice. All in the last game for Frankfurt captain David Abraham before...

Hound Scott Twine mentioned in the Sun

Been very good in div2 this year from the look of it. 21 years old, might be an interesting one

If true, let's hope we can tie this deal down pretty quickly.

Uke
Pepe the Horseman Wayne Rooney finally appointed manager of Derby. No one saw that coming.

Must be a results based appointment

Well it's stopped people talking about the financial mess they are in for a day or so.

AthleticoSpizz Dunno, but Sheff U’s first win of the Prem season hasn’t helped his pension pot.

Two wins on the bounce for the Blades

When Derby set the record low, their only win was a 1-0 home win against Newcastle. Odds on Sheffield United finishing on 11 points?

Re: The generic transfer thread

Pepe the Horseman QPR winger Bright Osayi-Samuel has agreed a pre-contract with Fenerbahce and will join on a four-year contract this summer.

Big loss for them, one of their better forward players. QPR fans seem more annoyed at him than the club from what I have seen.

Winston Biscuit Bayern Munich knocked out the German cup by 2nd division Holstein Kiel

Courtesy of a 95th minute equaliser and penalty shoot out. Means this season will be only the 3rd cup final since 2010 that doesn't feature Bayern.

Mendes allegedly training at Almeria for the final time today, saying goodbyes I imagine before returning to Lisbon to supposedly head our way.

Derby have told their players they won't get paid in full for December as they don't have the money. Proposed takeover in dome doubt. If it doesn't happen in next few days, administration beckons.

Jack Wilshere training with Bournemouth Has been for a couple of weeks I think - not sure there are any plans for him to sign there but he knows the club from his time on loan there so makes sense for him to train there and wouldn't be surprised if there ends up being a deal there if no other inter...

Re: Brentford game postponed

Shame the 14 “fit” players rule doesn’t apply in league games  It may have to soon - they've already changed the rules on number of subs mid-season so wouldn't surprise me if that changes too. But you shouldn’t really do that halfway through it as it’s unfair on teams in the same division that...

Re: Brentford game postponed

:( :( More time for team to recover I guess. Moore will be back soon. The policy seems inconsistent. We've seen weakened teams fielded, 3 points awarded for no shows in L1 & L2, and postponements. If the shoe was on the other foot, we'd say this is a fair outcome. But I'd have wanted a crack at...

Re: Brentford game postponed

I assume these new cases are related to the positive case their manager had. Looking at free weeks, this one will likely be Tuesday 26th - though doubt we will want to play Tues/Friday or 2nd or 3rd of Feb. Otherwise will be 10th March at the earliest unless Brentford don't make the 5th round of the...
