Re: Royals on the Box/Internet Thread

Audio in a separate tab is behind the video...hope they sort out the audio feed for the video ASAP Is it not really far ahead of the video though? I don't think the video will ever have its own commentary. The option for it is there under the settings button, so why not? Video working like a gem no...

Re: Royals on the Box/Internet Thread

Go to first team fixtures > match centre > watch live now That seems like an off place to have the only link to this, surely there should also be something on the iFollow section of the website? Biding my time now to see if/how this works, got a computer all set up connected to the TV to watch this...

Re: Gonearsson?

NEWS STRAIGHT FROM THE MOUTH OF BRYN HIMSELF (at least it is to me, but then I'm a tad out of the loop) Bryn is just on the Icelandic version of the weekend wrap-up, being his normal likeable self. The two permanent hosts are doing a good job of grilling him on football in general, but also talked a...

Re: Next Reading Manager

I've got no time to read through this and other threads to see if this stat has been mentioned, just read it in the Icelandic media and thought I'd share, an abysmal president though it may be. No team in the bottom three in the Prem who's swapped managers after Feb 1st has been able to save themsel...

Re: Gonearsson?

Looking forward to seeing him play this summer, since this ended up happening I'm glad it did now, so he can get his pre-season work in with the team at least. Hadn't gotten myself a shirt this year, sorely tempted to getting Gunnarsson on the back of one now. Sad to see him leave Reading though, it...

Re: Alfred Finnbogason

What's the standard of the Iceland league like? It runs from pretty good to awful, and that's just in the 12 team top flight. Pretty good I'd define as consistently producing players who are considered good enough to go pro in Scandinavia and English lower leagues. I really hate how much of a "...

Re: SPECULATION - Gylfi on sale for £6m

Well if it happens (Spurs, 'Pool or somehow Reading) it's gonna be tomorrow (Friday) apparently. I'm baffled that he's taking this long to decide actually. I really want to be all hopeful he's on his way here, but as someone who hates all these transfer speculations because it's just never as good ...

Re: SPECULATION - Gylfi on sale for £6m

Icelandic media picking up on the Bild article. Not that it REALLY means anything since our papers are notorious for doing this, but what I do give us is at least there aren't new updates many times in one day like in England. http://www.mbl.is/sport/enski/2012/06/25/segja_ad_tottenham_hafi_gengid_f...

Re: Next seasons kit choice?

Surely blue or black? I feel as though red would look horrific... I would buy the yellow one if we got it. Might get the replica one from the club shop actually. And I think the retro badge works with it. Didn't think of blue as an option. The red could (and probably would) be botched, though it wo...

Re: Next seasons kit choice?

These new mock-ups by Jay are quite something. I wasn't sold on the all-yellow as a possibility of something I'd actually buy until I saw those. Would've been cool for the history and all, but as someone who's fully intending on buying both if they look good, if yellow's gonna be the color it needs ...

Re: RUMOUR - Björn Bergmann Sigurdarson

Funny thing about the hattrick as I've just seen in Icelandic media. Down 3-2, Lilleström put the ball out of play because of an injured Brann player. Upon the throw in Brann score when they're kicking it back to the keeper, ball bounces too high and sails over him. Much discussion ensues, but ultim...

Re: Brynjar Gunnarsson

To close the discussion on him leaving and apparently scooping the official site by my estimation of a quick glance over the recent headlines and the fact that nothing's been posted here yet, Bryn's signed a new 1 year deal. http://www.mbl.is/sport/enski/2012/05/01/gat_ekki_annad_en_tekid_thessu_bo...

Re: Brynjar Gunnarsson

Maria. Why do you think Reading have offered Bryn this new deal (if they have)? Possibly to give more experience when we are in the prem? Probably, I mean he must be a nice level head to have in the dressing room/around the more inexperienced players, done it before and all that. But IMO IF Reading...

Re: Brynjar Gunnarsson

Wowsa, something that's been as set in stone as could be for months now seems to be up in the air a bit. An Icelandic TV news report just said per their sources Reading will offer him a new deal. They couldn't get a comment from either Reading or KR on it tho, so I'm taking it with a pinch of salt u...

Re: Brynjar Gunnarsson

One of the two major Icelandic newspapers had the sense to ring up my team's coach to ask if Reading going up to the Prem changes anything about Brynjar coming home. I'm in a good mood (frankly who here isn't right now), so I'll translate (and it doesn't seem to be online) I think they'll have a lon...
