Re: Coronavirus outbreak

I have to say that I continue to think that the fear over this COVID-19 issue is overdone. I have just checked the Gov flu report which details flu deaths for the four years from 2014/15 through to 2017/18. An average of 21,155 died in the UK during these four years from flu including sadly a numbe...

Silver Fox Is it Celta Vigo? I saw it was RC Celta, which looks like some sort of eSports team. If it's just sum random Vigo player I'll be more hoepful of our Tom's chances

Andros Townsend was shit in the last round fwiw

Re: Enjoying or hating the no football era?

May or June is wishful thinking I'm afraid. If football by some miracle returns by that time then it will be behind closed doors.

Re: Coronavirus outbreak

China has a population of 1.4 billion yet suffered only 3,261 deaths so far. Panic leads to irrational decision making. between 250,000 and 600,000 have been dying of flu each year for many years and we do nothing. Without understanding how many people have actually been infected (not just tested) ...

Re: Coronavirus outbreak

Chill. Way more people have had this virus than we think. YES We will enter a peak soon and things will slow. YES Several treatments are already showing promise and vaccines have been produced. NO, testing is only just starting We will forget about this like we forgot about the other SARS and Ebola...

Re: Impact on players form

Wouldn't worry about players form for this season as it won't get finished.

Doubt next season will start either. Can see them having to wait until the next World Cup year for any domestic football.

Re: Enjoying or hating the no football era?

Not sure what that dig is about but wish you no harm and hope you stay safe.

Far more important things and people in life to worry about than football and there is a lot to worry about right now.

Wish some people would understand that this is NOT oxf*rd "scaremongering".

This is real, it is dangerous for us all and it is only going to get worse.

Three Leicester players are now self isolating. They played Birmingham in the Cup recently.

The same Birmingham we played last weekend.

Re: Coronavirus outbreak

Outdoor events must be considerably safer than say travelling on the tube. Those most likely to be affected should self isolate as much as possible as well. Spring is nearly here. Hopefully a spell of good weather will stop it spreading too widely across the UK. Given that the main person saying it...

Re: BFTG Sheff U FB

Unless we've done something underhand in terms of the business plan we gave the FL when they allowed us out of the temporary embargo I don't see how they can charge is with anything as surely we've just stuck to a plan that the FL themselves approved.

Ian is the only one I know. Maybe keep the childrens football matches talk to a minimum eh? It isn't a subject you know too much about seeing as your children, by your own admission, have disappointed you on that front. Err not me - but I’m glad they’re not getting exposed to managers who condone u...

Re: BFTG Sheff U FB

Perhaps was Men vs Boys. However we made them look very ordinary for long periods of the second half. Potentially that's a team that could be playing in Europe next season. There's plenty to feel pleased about after that perfomance. Matt Miazga & Pele should be signed permanently. Ovie Ejaria c...
