Re: MATCHWATCH : Middlesbrough (a) sponsored by a Simon Cox chip

It’s a huge problem. Look at West Brom in comparison. I’m not getting the hype for Puscas either. Couple of well taken goals against Cardiff and that's it. If a player like Meite had missed some of the chances Puscas has in the last few games he'd have been criticised non stop by many. Meite gets a...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Middlesbrough (a) sponsored by a Simon Cox chip

As with Hull a game we should not have lost but did lose. Just seven points from seven games is a poor start to the season. Puscas again misses a big chance. He certainly cannot be accused of being a clinical finisher. Expect a small gate v Blackburn next Saturday. Yep. Particularly concerned that ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Middlesbrough (a) sponsored by a Simon Cox chip

Anyone else getting the feeling that whilst Gomes was the one to bring back some positivity to the club he may not be the one to take it to the next stage? Depends on what your ambitions for this season are. Anyone who thinks we should be challenging top 6 is a bit naive IMO but we have enough abou...

Re: Racism in football (John Terry spin-off)

The fact that England have as good as qualified for the euros, it’s an absolute given that the players will walk off against Bulgaria if abuse comes their way. The question is whether the Bulgarians walk off if the England fans racially abuse them like they are alleged to have done on Saturday. htt...

Andorra tried our old offside trap trick against Turkey. It didn't go well for them. or for Turkey in the end.

Re: Nova leaves on permanent deal

Sad to see him go, but Puscas, Joao and Meite with Loader up and coming? Which of those would you drop for him? In an ideal world with money growing on trees keep everyone, but overall I'd rather the above minus Nova. Clearly Danny "too big for his boots" Loader. Even then Novakovich woul...

F[u]cking hell you have a hard on for Charlton.

Like most fans of the other clubs in this division, bar Leeds, they sang for the first 10 minutes and then barely made any noise until they were winning.

That's not to say C1871 made a huge amount of noise either.

Winston Biscuit
Hendo Icardi to PSG on loan for the year.

Still think he'd do an excellent job in The Prem.

Agree, i really r8 him very highly.

The Enfield Royal71 If they aren't going to sing when we are losing they need to go I think. The time has come and it has finished. It just proves it is full of plastics.

Don't think it has to go but they could at least think about getting rid of Ian Royal. That would probably improve it no end.

Still doesn't means we need to clap for a random club we have no affiliation to. I actually saw some people clapping for them and standing up yesterday and told them very sternly If they want to applaud a different team then rescind their season tickets and get out the stadium because its Reading f...

They way some of the Charlton players went down anyone would think they'd been a victim of their manager on a night out in Leeds.

Re: BFTG - Charlton

So let me get this straight, Puscas hits the bar, fires wide, and gets through on a one 2 one forcing the keeper to make a good save, and is being branded has dreadful, while Joao does the sum total of fukk all and he`s being marked up higher that Puscas, what strange fans we have. Puscas should ha...

Re: BFTG - Charlton

I remember Charlton being top of premier league at the end of August one year, think it was their first season up there. They ended up being relegated in May. Can't see that happening this season but cant see them finishing in the top half either.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Charlton Athletic (h) sponsored by Dave Shipperley

We were shit, Charlton were were shit. Lucky goal changed the game and we didn’t do enough to get back into it. Couldn’t disagree more that Charlton were shit. Defensively strong, nullified our system brilliantly and were more than the sum of their parts. Fortunate goals but they earned it. They we...
