Re: Rival Watch

Genuinely can’t believe Preston are top of the Championship. Awful against us and not much better on the bits I saw on TV today But they won, completely irrelevant if they played well or not. We were very good against them and didn't let them have a sniff, we made them look bad and the team and man...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Millwall (h) sponsored by new manager bounce

Bigtimmeh So...does anyone have anything to say about Millwall? I'm interested to see how 1871 cope with their fans....

They've always played hoof pub football and with the new manager that's unlikely to change.

If we set up right this is as easy 3 points as it gets

Re: Ade Williams

I don't think his recent podcasts with former managers and players have been that great, bit of a missed opportunity in my view. Would have been better for one of the pro journalists to have done these as they would have done more homework and asked better questions.

Re: CONFIMRED - Mark Bowen

The stick he got last week quite honestly I blame the club for to a large extent ....if they'd done the press conference at the same time of the announcement and got all the issues re the appointment out in the open straightaway, a lot of the negativity from the fans, press and people like motormout...

Re: BBC Berks Reading FC Podcast interviews

The Ian Branfoot interview I found disappointing, Ady Williams could have done a lot more homework, very little on the 13 wins, and key games in the run, and the Simod Cup chat was mainly around the post match meal in the Ramada Hotel after, which Williams attended as a YTS trainee. It also came acr...

Yep was getting a tad worried...although they would have had to beat City to have taken the record.

Re: Next Manager

Wasnt Clarke rated highly as a coach? Doesnt guarentee being a good or even decent manager. He had a credible spell in management at West Brom before we appointed him though Done pretty well in Scotland too to be fair - cannot judge him re the national team, I don't think anyone could achieve anyth...

Re: Next Manager

Wasn`t Eddie Niedzwiecki an assistant here before? Yes, and IIRC he also did a short spell as caretaker manager. I think he got sent off (sent to the stands) when he was in charge as Caretaker Manager. Assistant manager under Porterfield I believe? Caretaker manager last few games of season before ...

Randomly Figo was in Guildford quite recently. I know, I know. Seriously tenuous!
