Re: Osho - best crosser of the ball at the club. Discuss.

He'll get a few games in a league one club, who else will sign him?

He's taken a huge risk in the current climate and is being poorly advised, probably got the same agent as Loader

Re: On this day

like Death, Habin and Cummings. Death, Habbin and Cumming great great players, I loved them but, like the best ever, Robin Friday, they were fourth division players. Happy days. Gordon Cumming ended up serving in a greasy spoon/tea bar at Henley station. That's interesting - I thought Gordon set up...

Re: Something sinister in the Championship

From what I understand, if Wednesday didn't do the creative accounting they'd have got a punishment for breaching FFP anyway. Presumably if Derby sold the stadium at market value so would they. From what I've heard on the news, Wednesday did sell there stadium but the sale was too late for the FFP ...

50 years ago today 1st Aug 1970, and on a Saturday, Reading 2-3 Man United featuring Best, Charlton, Law & co, first round Watney Cup. This was the first sponsored competition in English football was run pre season for the highest scoring sides from the previous season. I was a bit too young to ...

Hound Excellent. Wycombe and Rotherham should take care of the other 2

Or Barnsley/Luton....we'd have to be seriously bad to go down....Derby will probably get a points deduction too

Re: Ex Players

I assume we will get some sort of settlement for training him as we offered him a contract. Might put another million in the pot. Not for clubs outside the UK. Are you sure ? It’s A FIFA. Regulation I believe, certainly within the EFL rules it refers to payment of training compensation under FIFA r...

Re: Speculation - loans from the Premier League

Hendo I'm not having Piazon in the failures either. Yes he was a dick when he left for Fulham but 5 goals and 3 assists in 27 games is a fine return.

Also Ake can be moved to the success list. 5 appearances on a month loan, 3 in which he won MOTM.

Agree - Ake was class that month he was here.

Re: Bowen's Tenure

Yeah not a fan of this armchair analysis of players’ characters based on “body language” and so forth. Aluko is hardly the first winger we’ve had who didn’t like getting into a tackle. I think alukos problems are a bit bigger than not wanted to get into a tackle me neither - problem is though he is...

Re: Bowen's Tenure

Beerans was a major loss. Technically one of the best players we've ever had. Stam ousted Cooper , Dickie amongst others. He lost all confidence when he was played up top, or part of a “revolving” front three with no strikers Was the wrong decision from Stam to mess the system and his role about bu...

Old Man Andrews Fake journalist Courtney Friday claims we are back on for Ejaria. No idea how he'd know this or who his source is. Completely made up.

Well he might be right, Ejaria becomes a free agent tomorrow if we don't honour the option to buy

Re: Squad for 2020/21

Really need to sell Swift/Moore/anyone else quickly so the club has what little flexibility that provides for as long as possible in the transfer window. The most important thing is getting the right fee. If QPR are getting £20m for Eze then we should be able to get similar for Swift, particularly ...

Re: Bowen, Sack? Yes or no?

The remit was to stay up which has been achieved comfortably, for that reason alone Bowen deserves a season with his own squad Yes we lost the last 3 games (when safe) but we lost 6 of the last 7 under Brian a few years back with a similar sort of set up ie a bloated squad full of loanees and out of...

On paper looks a weak league next year with who's stayed up, who's coming up and possible points deductions next season. You'd have to be pretty bad to go down
