Re: MATCHWATCH : Swindon Town (a)

Admittedly I am not a regular at games these days but I watch what I can. Genuinely surprised to hear that the away end were booing and singing what they were singing. - After the relative unity during the end of the Dai era, how have things become so toxic so quickly? - Since when did these matche...

Re: Low point of the Dai era

To throw in additional low point, Blackpool (H) 0-3 Selles left and it felt like Hunt had been appointed, not as a shrewd selection, but as the only possible option. We waited to see how the change would impact the team and witnessed one of the worst performances of the season. I remember driving ho...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Oxford United (a)

Dorsett struggled all game and looked out of his depth. Azeez didn't put a foot right. Wing, Yiadom and Binden the pick of the bunch, Knibbs and Craig lots of effort but not enough composure. Great cameos from Wifi and Savage. TVP a bit heavy handed I thought. On BBC Oxford their lot were describin...

AthleticoSpizz Schards drove a 200 mile round trip (from Wootton Bassett  ) today, according to his cameo on BBCRB this evening. Nice to hear an old ‘nobber still alive tbf

HA HA I realised this was Schards as well.

Must have taken a wrong turning at some point

Got a bit carried away there! As I said, I don't think the protest will change Dai Yongge's thinking, I doubt he'll even know a...

Re: Selles In

One thing I’ve noticed about Azeez which has made a huge difference is he is trusting his right foot a whole lot more Previously he was always cutting back. Now he is regularly putting in excellent crosses on his right The defender is now struggling as they want to keep him on his weaker foot, but ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Exeter City (h)

Thought the game was fairly entertaining. Exeter had some good ideas and played quite well first half but they made so many unforced errors it was unreal. One of those days when you really feel the difference in quality to the champ Thought their left hand side - Jules (goal aside) and the number 5...

Feel like this needs it's own thread so we can discuss it in all it's glory. https://twitter.com/EdRyding/status/1740831312192168343?t=0-uYmyP1-_ny3EC9kYpcLQ&s=19 I think for some reason he thinks absent mindedly that we have already conceded for whatever reason and is kicking the ball in frust...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Northampton Town (a)

My first time watching us away this season and it's frankly, terrifying. Regardless of points deductions, I think we will go down. This is an academy team playing at league one level. It doesn't show so much at home as visiting teams are more cautious and stand off us but away, the home team attacks...

Re: BFTG - Burton

I think in terms of the quality of the football, that was the worst game I have seen in 20+ years Hi Schards, you're getting quite a few mentions on AE at the moment with regards to your twitter activity, just though you might like to set the record straight on there... Thanks for the heads up but ...

Re: Potential New Owners

Out of interest, what is the EFL threshold in terms of share holding before they have to go through their tests - IIRC it is now 25%. So if some shyster like Storey can pull the wool over Dai's eyes enough - which to be fair is likely to involve simply waving a cheque for a few million at him (or s...

Re: Potential New Owners

Irrespective of whether you want Dai to oxf*rd off or not do you think he’s just looking for a short term fix until he can get full access to his own funds? I still don’t see him selling up lock stock and barrel. He might just want a few million to cover the payroll over the next few months or so. ...

Re: Sam Smith confimred

Sam Smith was one of the worst players I've ever seen in a Reading shirt.....however, I would have said the same about Michael Antonio a few years back so who knows. It's a measure of the state we are/were in that its reassuring to see players think of Reading as a better option than Cambridge. Sadl...
