Re: BFTG Middlesbrough

People are seriously exaggerating how boring this game was. It was lower tempo than our previous games but the team was still trying to attack and having shots... it was nowhere tear the turgidness of our worst Stamball performances. Agreed. Yes we struggled to break down Boro but we played all the...

Re: Pedro Mendes

Carrico was an odd one, against Liverpool in the 0-0 draw, he was superb but he was very rarely seen again after that, if not at all Ilori was an abomination of a defender, simply wasn't a Championship player, suits the foreign leagues more IMO, not sure how he's done since he's gone though He was ...

Re: BFTG - Derby

 Anyone agree with Mr Kempson’s opinion? https://www.getreading.co.uk/sport/sport-opinion/arrogance-reading-fc-players-almost-17464853 Personally I didn’t see it as that myself, although there were a couple of moments of “unnecessaryness”, but then Reading are so rarely ever in a commanding ...

Re: BFTT Barnsley

Fair play to those who made the journey. Two utterly dreadful teams playing largely utterly dreadful stuff. Puscas just has to be more clinical. Not good enough. Ejaria is so classy but occasionally one too many touches. Adam played some glorious passes. I guess we have to be grateful for the point ...

Re: BFT ???????????????????????????????????????????

the second one is on the SS highlights Watching it again it probably is a yellow which pains me to say. One of those where if it were the opposition you'd want them to be booked. Pretty foolish from a senior pro of Swift's calibre, and probably reiterates his calibre: pretty mediocre. I don't think...

Re: BFTG Villa

Not sure about the Mings incident-it was not far from us and looked to be an accident at the time. These cuts always look bad but I expect him to be o.k. by next week. I’d call it as accidental. I was on that side and reasonably in line and didn’t think Mings could do a lot about where to put his f...

Re: BFTG- Millwall (a)

Only just seen the highlights, Blackett's is never a red. But he is just a terrible footballer. His awful touch meant he had to make the tackle.

Bacuna knew exactly what he was doing standing on the guy's leg.

Re: BFTG - Leeds

One funny moment yesterday was Ball-boygate. A ball-boy twice refused to give the ball to a Spurs player and on another occasion he threw it away. IMO our ball-boys/girls are useless. Slow to get to the ball and return it especially when we are attacking. I want to see them jump the advertising and...

Re: Message to Tim Dellor and Konathon Low

I have been supporting Reading for over 50 years, and I know you care. But you need to stop being too nice! Tim comment to Jap Stam last night ,"well it was a point gained"! Rubbish this the worst I can remember, one win in 15 games, fans deserting, 2 points in the last 7 home games , no ...

Re: BFT Appalling mess at home

Did someone give Ilori a 6? He looked like he'd fallen out of bed for all the energy he showed. Backed this up with some horrendous passing and the worst first touch I've seen for some time to pick up a well deserved yellow. He is arrogant, lethargic and complacent on the ball. I think Ilor...

We've gone for 7 in Block 214. Hopefully will be a good atmosphere in the middle tier as that looks like best available to buy now.

Re: Dave Kitson

If Kitson is The Secret Footballer (it's pretty much a given isn't it?) it's worth pointing out that he's a manic depressive with suicidal tenancies so calling him out for being a bit weird and a nutcase probably isn't the most sensitive thing in the world. He should get in touch with his landlord ...

Re: Back from the game - Norwich

I think that we still have a problem with the character in the squad. When the going is good, the likes of Williams, McCleary, McShane. Swift, Beerens, Obita, even Blackett and Gunter can be very good. I think they would possibly be at a higher level if they had the consistency. This isn't unusual ...

Re: Back from the game - Leeds (H)

Just read Garry Monk's post game comments, the guy absolutely talks out of his arse. "Albeit, a little bit more luck and a little bit more guile and we could have got that equaliser and nobody could have begrudged us that." "First half we made too many mistakes, uncharacteristically. ...

Re: BFTG Wolves

We desperately needed to get three points today and we, probably undeservedly, got them. The Sky Sports Highlights devoted 7 seconds to action in the first half and that probably tells you all you need to know about it. Except that Popa started brightly and was constantly trying to make runs which ...

Re: BFTG - Fulham Home

It was a tale of two soft penalties! We do what we nearly always do and scored on the rebound and Fulham did what they nearly always do and missed. Or, maybe more accurately, had their attempt saved by AAH. Well done to Stam. His strange line-up made us tighter at the back and he had us harrying th...
