Re: MATCHWATCH : Brentford (a) sponsored by injury problems

11 points from 13 games, relegation form, thank god for our great start. Its 12 games Windy but what a comedown after the start to the season. Thank God we got early points on the board. Pauno needs to turn this around very soon though. I can’t see the owners being very patient given their previous...

Re: Rival Watch

I don't think MaClean has done himself any favours with some of the things he has said but he has spoken quite honestly about why he feels he cannot wear the poppy and afaik, he has never publicly harangued or abused anyone else for wearing it. Its a few footballers respectfully expressing an opini...

Re: Rival Watch

People don't want politics in football. It's nothing to do with being racist. If you read around (which I suggest you do), aside from BBC quoting the usual suspects, a lot of the public feel the same. Even Gary Rowett who I see the BBC didn't quote for some reason ( ) says it is becoming an ...

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

Just reading the Forestforum. No credit to us, all the refs fault, turning on Houghton (who they were worshipping when he arrived), bad mouthing us and our fans today, and our ground. They really are a self entitling, moaning, living in the past, odius bunch of c*nt's. Really want them to go down. ...

Re: Reading FC Womens World

Birmingham had nil points before today, three defeats from the start of the season. The Reading Women could have gone up to 4th. (but would have gone up to 5th.) with a win today. Trust a Reading team to give their rivals a kick start to the season. Just like the men's team most seasons! Yep, they ...

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

I think the solution is to go unbeaten for a further 10 games and then say "So you still think we're lucky, punks?" Meanwhile, Forest can continue to scrape along at a point and game and prolong their tallest dwarf contest with Derby and Watford can bumble along at a goal a game and keep ...

Re: Royals on the Box/Internet Thread

Reading FC have announced the games against Birmingham City and Norwich in December will KO at 7.45pm and are available to watch on the Red button and ifollow. Seems sensible as there won’t be any fans (or very few by then, if we are lucky) and it lines us up with all the other games on those eveni...

Re: Royals on the Box/Internet Thread

Reading FC in announcing the change of start time for the Millwall away game to 7pm have said that the game is not on the red button service- only on ifollow. I thought SKY were showing all the midweek matches that are not on SKY TV on the red button. Obviously i’m wrong !! It is at the home team’s...

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

On the xG model Liverpool would have finished last season with 26 points less. It doesn't account for how good goalkeepers are and Rafael is pulling off saves against shots with high xG. Almost like it is a stat that can inform discussion rather than be the settling factor... Then why do all these ...

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

I find it amusing that people look at a statistical prediction tool that says the team clear at the top of the table should be mid-table and say "The table is wrong, they're lucky and will fall away" rather than "the statistical model isn't very good is it" Indeed. Under the xG ...

Re: Royals on the Box/Internet Thread

Or the EFL’s website https://www.efl.com/clubs-and-competitions/tv-games/domestic-efl-games/ See the tweet at the top. One of the ITKs (who also broke news of Cov and Stoke being televised) is saying that those 4 have been selected. https://twitter.com/ExclusivesFc/status/1321733113790320640 I know...
