Re: Biggest Reading FC injustices

In keeping with several threads asking people to reminisce, I'm doing one on the worst refereeing injustices we've had. 2 stick in my mind: 1) Jason McAteer not getting sent off for the penalty at Wembley. Re: Players who virtually won us games/promotion/avoided relegation on their own

That season under Mark Mcgee - the football was just sublime. I remember the feeling and watching the match knowing I would be entertained and we would outplay the opposition, which happened time and time again.

Re: The most charismatic/moronic fan we have or have ever had

Who is the "fan" who sits down in Y26 and somehow always attracts himself to the away fans? "paedo in the shorts" often rings out.

Re: The most charismatic/moronic fan we have or have ever had

We also have a new age type of moronic fan, those that appear on social media, we truly have some absolute shockers with some great standouts.

Re: Finance

With the finances I think we have to be realistic and if we get a good offer for any of our players we have to sell, it's the only reasonable way to get out of this mess in the short term while the long term will be a reduction in the level of wages offered, even if that mean we lose players for no...

Probably another thread in itself but not worse player but player who failed to live up to expectations had to be Scott Murray.

Nathan Redmond - St Andrews - last game of season, championship winning season. Stand out performer, it all went through him.

Re: Season Ticket Refund?

Season tickets for 20/21 season to be offered to existing season tickets holders at a discounted price. Think there is approximately 9500 of them. Supporters then will not have a direct choice of seating but within family member groups allocated a seat socially distanced from everyone else. Other te...

Re: Coronavirus outbreak

All FL games postponed, currently until weekend 3/4 April. Stoke, Derby and Brentford games now to be rearranged. Presuming the next thing could be the cancellation of the Euros and extension of league seasons. Could be issues for non league clubs with cash flow if those leagues also do the same. h...

Re: BFTG Sheff U FB

Was going to put this in club policies but will stick it in here. The turnstiles failed for a number of people on Tuesday night and the customer care / support was an absolute joke. Cant remember the gate but it serves Y24 etc. I got my son through for then to have my card fail. I have to trust him ...

Re: FA Cup 19/20

And so endeth the FA Cup for another season. Looking odds on for a very boring last 4 containing all the usual suspects eg. Arsenal, Chelsea, ManU and ManC. Will still hope for a Leicester v Sheff U final though remembering that Reading are quite good at getting knocked out of cups by the eventual ...

Re: BFTG Sheff U FB

So annoying. We give away two soft goals, yet we made a Prem team look very ordinary for long periods.Same old problem though, when we were on top we never looked like scoring.God only knows what shape we are going to be in on Saturday.Swift and Rino were shot after an hour. IMHO Rafael 7 Nothing much...
