Re: Nine Very Difficult Games - Predictions?

Hound I know it matters little, but would be really nice not to finish below Millwall and QPR
What?
WHAT?
WHAT?

Matters little???????

Re: Nine Very Difficult Games - Predictions?

Stoke City (Away) – I predicted a Draw - We drew 0-0... I started well! :D Preston (Home) – I predicted a Draw - We won 2-1... Oh me of little faith! Hull City (Away) – I predicted a Loss - We Lost 3-1... Started with 2 out of 3 Norwich (Away) – I predicted a Loss - We drew 2-2... A major shock :D ...

Re: On this day

I still have a hat and a scarf from that day!
IIRC, it was a lovely sunny day.

Didn't Luton make it Wembley 4 times in a year around that point?

Re: Reading FC Womens World

windermereROYAL Both semi-finals live on bbc. we are behind the red button. 12.30.
That's some consolation, as I have to miss it. I will record it and watch it later

In the last 16, we beat Birmingham for the first time. Now, we need to beat West Ham for the first time. I am feeling positive :)

Royals and Racers Sunday`s goals from the QF against Man Utd https://www.manutd.com/en/videos/womens-team

Thanks for that
Shame, as I was hoping they would show the two disallowed goals as well

Re: Reading FC Womens World

Are the semis at neutral venues? Semi final will be at home. West Ham would have been our preferred opponent, but we have yet to beat them. We drew at their place and lost at ours, so this will be far from easy Yesterday was a good performance and good that the girls kept going, when they started g...

Re: Nine Very Difficult Games - Predictions?

Stoke City (Away) – Draw – Stoke have been drawing a lot lately Preston (Home) – Draw – Home advantage may just swing a point for us Hull City (Away) – Loss – Hull have lost some lately, but against good teams Norwich (Away) – Loss – Anything else would be a major shock Brentford (Home) – Loss – The...

Re: Reading FC Womens World

Call me negative, but all I want to see tonight is a positive performance! If we get ANY points, it will be a bonus! Well, I got the positive performance I was after! In the first half, the difference really was that Parris is a striker in hot form. She got 3 chances and took them clinically. Howev...

Call me negative, but all I want to see tonight is a positive performance! If we get ANY points, it will be a bonus! A friend that I know from outside of football is a City fan and will be there tonight. It’s always good to get a shock result in those circumstances. I also have other reasons for wan...

Re: Bftg- Wigan (h)

However, fair play to the referee for adding time on. No long delays for injuries The delay after their first goal with 2 players down? The delay with Ejari? The delay with Moore? The delay before our second goal? Did you watch the game? I did and I am not saying there were no delays. I am saying t...

Re: Bftg- Wigan (h)

The beauty of this game was that Wigan really got what they deserved! On play alone, they probably deserved to win, but from the time they scored their first goal, their main game plan seemed to be to waste time! They were lucky not to get more cards for it. However, fair play to the referee for add...

Re: Run Ins - Relative Strengths

From Despair To Where? I'm becoming an armchair QPR fan for the next month. They play Rotherham, Bolton and Milwall.
I just can't! I just hope they lose all of those games and we pick up points at the same time :D

Re: The Next 8 games - Make or Break Time

In short, we were a class above them but missed a sitter and made some wrong decisions at other times This is a worry and hopefully, the new signings will eventually help with it! Against United, we could have been 3 or 4 up by half time, if we could finish the decent chances we created. If we coul...

Re: The Next 8 games - Make or Break Time

I think the next two games are crucial! The manager is still bedding in and we have new players. It’s almost like the start of a new season. We have an away game against a team with all kinds of issues. It is winnable. Win that and it gives the team a little boost, before a home game against a Vill...

Re: The Next 8 games - Make or Break Time

If we win the next two, check the latest betting. Surely we'll then start being taken seriously - One of the favourites to go up via the play-offs... Automatic may be a step beyond us :D

I voted other I would go with Mayumi Maz) Pacheco :-) No female players you hetro! Whats wrong with you??? Sorry. After years of hiding it and maybe even denying it to myself, I have finally come out of the closet and admitted that I am a heterosexual. It’s true – I like girls and I am not ashamed ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Derby County (a) sponsored by Yakubu

Derby really aren't great, they have 1 win in 7, one good run in October/November time aside, they've been completely average all season and their first half performance at the Mad Stad is the worst I've seen in a long time, even worse than Hull and Forest last week. We always seem to do OK up ther...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Derby County (a) sponsored by Yakubu

Well when you play yourself you can only win.  I can't even blame drink for this! :D This is potentially a very big game for Reading! The performance against Manure was very good and only really lacked the finishing. That was followed up by a win and then a game away to a very good team...
