Re: 2019/2020 FA Cup

.....and needless to say, what would constitute ‘the best loser’? Maybe ‘names in the hat’ and hope for the best. That, or a bye is given, and the ‘losers pot’ gets shared out with all of the last rounds losers (i.e. probably about a tenner) Name out of the hat was what they did when Darlington got...

As discussed previously (on more than one occasion) I haven't been to a game since Hull. When I do, you will be the first to know when SimFromBucks publishes my masterpiece.

edit: last game was Cardiff (h)

Re: MATCHWATCH : Middlesbrough (a) sponsored by a Simon Cox chip

Snowflake Royal Ok.

I'd pick Meite ahead of Joao and anyone ahead of Boye right now.

But then I just don't think the formation change will work. Too much dribbling in the middle of the pitch and trying to be intricate. Not enough penetration and wide open flanks.

Joao is our best striker

One thing I know for certain is that several people on here are neither fans, nor supporters.

Tim Dellor is also not a supporter, in the immortal words of Brendan.

Re: England - the future....

I'm starting to get a bit tired of Southgate's "invincibility" strategy - by forever picking youngsters and claiming the squad to be in a state of development he's trying to make this a job for life. The public want results now, not to see how Chelsea fringe players might fare in twenty mi...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Middlesbrough (a) sponsored by a Simon Cox chip

URZZZZ Weird stat but since 2015/16 our record after the international break is

W12
D2
L2

Those losses included two of our better performances of 17/18 against Wolves (H) and Bristol (H). We seem to have a habit of playing well after two weeks off

Interesting. Where did you get that from?

RoyalBlue He needed his PA to keep an eye on the table/fixtures and work that out for him? He was/is a fan - I think every fan knew the permutations inside out that season!

Sounds like a lot of the so called "supporters" on here

If someone wants to buy one of our players based on 4 appearances for £25m then I would bite their hand off.

Man United have recruited terribly since Fergie. Both managers and players, good to see that Ole has cleared the deadwood (1) Over the last 5 transfer windows, Utd have net spent comparatively little for a club of its size and the revenue. I used to mock Liverpool for their net spend arguments but ...

Pepe the Horseman Ray P (lol) is in incredible shape for a man that drinks so much.

He really is. It wouldn't be easy to be like that, especially drinking beer

Forbury Lion A pen and a notepad would technically qualify as equipment capable of recording visual information or data in relation to the match or the ground.

Could you imagine poor old Albert being slung out for ticking off the team sheet on the back of the programme :(

Re: The Manager Sack Race/Merry-go-Round

Should have stayed at Lincoln probably but they are in a no lose scenario at Huddersfield who cannot really get much lower. Would have fancied them at Reading if Gomes had moved on at any point in the season. The Cowley brothers off to Hudds can't help but feel they could have waited and had better...
