Re: Rumour - free agents

I'm very disappointed we haven't signed Daniel Sturridge. Even to offer him a pay as you play contract would have been the least we could have done.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Wycombe Wanderers (h) sponsored by Keith Scott

Wycombe are out of their depth and are here via a free ticket into the playoffs because of covid, games in hand are never points in the bag particularly when playing catch up late in the season. I can see the next 2 games being very similar - two very direct ex league one sides - and we will have t...

Re: Swift to... Southampton

Midfield ended up too open with those two I seem to recall him being in around the squad when we lacked a proper holding midfielder. He worked well with Quinn and Tshibola and I reckon he’d have worked well with Joey More nonsense from you I see. No one would "work well with Joey" because...

Re: Next seasons kit choice?

Ordered a shirt a couple of weeks ago and it arrived 3 days later. Only trouble I had was getting the dreadful website that the club uses to accept a payment card! How did you manage in the end Sutekh? I gave up yesterday after the third failed payment attempt.... I cheated entirely and got my wife...

Can't stand this new age of centre half that are lean streaks of piss. What happened to proper defenders?!

Re: Season 20/21

Stranded Interesting* point so far this season. Luton and us have 6 points. We have played and beaten the same two teams.

If the season were to end prematurely (next week) does that mean we'd go up?

Re: Club 1871 - the What, When, Where, How, Who & Why Thread

Club 1871 moving to the other side where the away fans are now when normality returns, good news can interact with Y26. Yup I saw this agree a good move although I imagine some in y26 won't like it. A few times last season a song would spread over the away fans and be picked up by east stand..let's...

Re: Rival Watch

Nottingham Forest looking absolutely dreadful so far this season, much to my amusement. They've spent a lot too. A couple of tough games against in form sides coming up...does Sabri Lamouchi start to worry? Surprised he's not gone already considering how they ended last season. Reckon him and Cocu ...

Re: Swift to... Southampton

tbh it hasn't been working for the last 5 years. A different approach and team is no bad thing. It's time for a change. if it means we lose some of our better players? meh, who gives a oxf*rd. there is no one in the squad that I'm worried about losing. I'm fairly sure we could achieve a similar lea...

Pepe the Horseman Tyler Blackett is the best crosser of the ball at the club.

Is the correct answer. He’s also our best player.

Re: Dellor moaning about Vydra again!!!

Hang on, those two are some of the most expensive transfer fees we’ve ever paid and are are both total pony. I think Dellor has every right to expect more from Puscas, like us all. As for Vydra...he was factually the worst signing we’ve ever made and should never play professional football again.

Re: Rival Watch

He has had a nightmare that keeper. Bit late to the party but what an incredible result for Wycombe. I nearly wrote the word unbelievable but with Gareth Ainsworth, anything is believable/possible. With regards to the Oxford United goalkeeper, if I was in charge of the club I would sack him for tha...

Re: Rival Watch

I remember Gnaduillet giving us heaps of trouble in the cup game at the Madstad earlier in the season. We've been linked with him ever since that game so I would assume this one has legs. He's a real handful at any level and has the kind of skillset I really like to see in a traditional striker. Wo...

Re: Rival Watch

Very late to the party on this one but what an outstanding strike worthy of winning any game in any league from the one and only Harry Arter a few days ago. The games are coming so thick and fast I can barely keep up, especially as our season is such a dead rubber. But what a strike from the young m...
