Re: CONFIMRED - Joao Virginia

From Despair To Where? John Smith's been hacked by a random cliche generating spambot and it's actually an improvement.

There's just no pleasing you lot is there. What do you want me to say about us taking Everton's youth keeper on loan?

Re: How do football supporters travel to football games?

Personally, I walk to away games. I suppose you could get the tram in Manchester and Sheffield and the ferry to Tranmere. LOts of Irish fans travel to Manchester/Liverpool using the ferries, fans on the IofW would get ferries..... Shared a taxi to Deepdale from Preston station with a Belfast based ...

Re: Joao Virginia

Some dude on Twitter who appears to know w lot about Portuguese players is very complimentary about this guy. Says hes a certain future international for Portugal. Shot stopping, ball at feet and command of his area all strkng points. Only possible weakness he mentions is one on ones. That would be...

Re: Barrow on the way ?

Wallsy Three transfer windows running he’s asked to leave. His fee plus wages off the books should all but be enough to secure Nelson Oliveira on a free (signing fee, agent fee, wages).

I think on this basis I'd have to agree. Not ideal but seems inevitable.

Re: Rumour: Joe Piggott

You've just made the point yourself with your Harry Kane comparison! Nova might well take to the Championship really well. Worth giving him a go in at least pre season seeing as he cost us next to nothing. Kane was 17 when he was at Orient. Novakovich is 22 now and is clearly not cut out for top fl...

Re: Rumour: Joe Piggott

Ligue 2 is a better Eredivisie?? Yeah jog on. How many Ligue 2 games did Meite play last season then mate? The point was that Meite had a loan spell at Ligue 2 and Nova played in the Top Dutch league and out scored him in comparison. We were comparing loan spells were we not? Or does that not fit y...

Re: Rumour: Joe Piggott

If he had better overall loan spells than Meite (who was our top scorer last season) why shouldn’t he be considered? Because he was playing in a pub league and didn't have a decent record in that. Ligue 2 is a better Eredivisie?? Yeah jog on. How many Ligue 2 games did Meite play last season then m...

Joe Piggott is not good enough to play for Reading FC in the Championship. Also can people please stop mentioning/considering/wasting their time with Novakovich. Re: Ex Players

When he left us he had the choice of QPR or Liverpool. He chose QPR because he thought he'd get more game time. He was wrong, and it was probably the worst decision of his career. He would have been first choice at Liverpool instead of second choice at QPR. He'd have earned more money, certainly wo...

Always look forward to fixture day, it's just a step towards the season starting. The main ones I always look for is opening day and a couple of fixtures beyond that, Christmas period, Easter period and last few games of the season. Also always look for likes of Brentford, Fulham away etc... Would ...
