Re: Swift to... Southampton

tbh it hasn't been working for the last 5 years. A different approach and team is no bad thing. It's time for a change. if it means we lose some of our better players? meh, who gives a oxf*rd. there is no one in the squad that I'm worried about losing. I'm fairly sure we could achieve a similar lea...

Pepe the Horseman Tyler Blackett is the best crosser of the ball at the club.

Is the correct answer. He’s also our best player.

Re: Dellor moaning about Vydra again!!!

Hang on, those two are some of the most expensive transfer fees we’ve ever paid and are are both total pony. I think Dellor has every right to expect more from Puscas, like us all. As for Vydra...he was factually the worst signing we’ve ever made and should never play professional football again.

Re: Rival Watch

He has had a nightmare that keeper. Bit late to the party but what an incredible result for Wycombe. I nearly wrote the word unbelievable but with Gareth Ainsworth, anything is believable/possible. With regards to the Oxford United goalkeeper, if I was in charge of the club I would sack him for tha...

Re: Rival Watch

I remember Gnaduillet giving us heaps of trouble in the cup game at the Madstad earlier in the season. We've been linked with him ever since that game so I would assume this one has legs. He's a real handful at any level and has the kind of skillset I really like to see in a traditional striker. Wo...

Re: Rival Watch

Very late to the party on this one but what an outstanding strike worthy of winning any game in any league from the one and only Harry Arter a few days ago. The games are coming so thick and fast I can barely keep up, especially as our season is such a dead rubber. But what a strike from the young m...

Re: Playoffs 2019/20

What a great oxf*rd game we had tonight. Wycombe gave Fleetwood a pasting, 2 red cards and missed penalty. I would love to see them up in the league. Looking like a Wembley showdown between Wycombe and Oxford at the moment. Oxford drew 1-1 at Pompey. Doesn’t look like that at all. How can a 1-1 dra...

What has John Swift ever done/displayed to warrant a price tag of circa £5m? He plays for a mediocre, lower mid-table team in the Championship.

Re: BFIFollow Brentford

Absolutely shambolic. Such a turgid display. Nothing else on that needs to be said. What I would say though is, if that was a half packed Madjeski they would get roundly booed. The players would come out and moan about fans and demand support. They have no excuses or to blame anyone else but themse...

Re: Most underrated/"does a job" player for Reading?

His career progression proved what? That he spent the bulk of his career in the Dutch top flight including 2 very comfortable mid table finishes with newly promoted clubs before moving to England in his 30s?. That would suggest a good career as a solid pro footballer at a decent level but granted, ...

Re: Most underrated/"does a job" player for Reading?

Anyone on here even attempting to defend the ability of Joey van den Berg has no idea of football whatsoever. Atrocious technically, even worse mentally with the composure of a drunk bloke having an argument in a pub. Probably the same level of grace as well. Not a footballer and his career progress...
