Re: Richardson to Blackburn

Agree he ain’t going anywhere, doesn’t yet even feature in the obvious names being bandied by betting sites: Nigel Pearson 14/1 Gary O'Neil 16/1 Chris Wilder 20/1 Michael Appleton 25/1 Paul Warne 30/1 Some great names there - I would gladly take any of them. Would drive Richardson to Blackburn myse...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Northampton Town (a)

For me, it reflects how thick and entitled they are, because we weren’t really bad. A bit slow and ponderous after a decent start, but that's it. I was in dismay at the "sideways and backwards" chants, I think it's quite clear they were coming from people who have simply never played the ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Northampton Town (a)

It tells me something completely different, what a bunch of juvenile dickheads we have following us on the road now. When did booing your team ever achieve anything? They don`t play badly on purpose. I think it reflected how bad we were. I agree on booing- I don't do it, but it shows the sentiment ...

Re: Favourite Reading game?

Nottingham Forest 3-4 Reading - 9th April 2011

End to end, the lead chopping and changing, then Si Church with an injury time winner. Sunny day on the river too.

Re: Is it time the RFC ended Club1871

There was nothing wrong with the atmosphere pre-C1871. The same people who made noise in Y26 just moved over. But with a worse view. And a significant cost to the club to reconfigure the away end. It was a vanity project nothing more as evidenced by the attention seeking fella who runs it throwing ...

wally bassoon FFs.
Got tickets for my two lads but missed out on one for me as one of our season tickets only had 600 points due to us moving it from my daughters name.

So I will just be driving them up and sitting in the car listening then driving them fcuking home

Home end and behave yourself, surely?

Re: New bar

Great concept and will be good once teething issues are over, however the payment system was down at HT on Sat, so had to leave the queue and go to the concourse anyway.

Hey John, where've you been lately? As a fellow EatB fan, it’s always nice to see your posts. The chagrinned subject of your post above, played the full 90+….think you might need to dig a bit deeper for doing some finger-waggling than just picking your seasonal scapegoat after just three games tbf....

I think Daniel Kyerewaa might very well be in the running for the worst player to have ever donned a Reading shirt. Hopeless.

Re: Early expectations for next season

It's a pretty poor quality league in reality, bar one or two sides. I am expecting enough recruitment to be made in the summer for the playoffs and I'm optimistic this is the time we actually win the damn things

Re: On this day......

I may be verging on blasphemy, but it could be argued SSC made a number of errors that final season. Not least, Wally Downes begged him to play five in midfield against Fulham to shut down the middle, but he was so stuck to 4-4-2 that he wouldn't change. As above, that was the crucial game. Also, n...
