Re: Coronavirus outbreak

I don't really know the stats on John Solako but as a 9 year old I thought he was incredible.

Re: Finance

We're not even very good at cooking the books by the look of it. £26 mill for the Madejski? Derby sold basically an identical stadium for £80million and do you know how cheap a semi in Derby is compared to a semi in Whitley? It's not hard to pin point where its going wrong with the club.

Jagermesiter1871 Looking forward to Kingsley being sold to the owners next year for £45million. Running out of things to sell after him though.

We can't sell Kingsley. Heart and soul of the club. Sell Queensley.

Will look a bit suspect selling Queensley for 45mil. Maybe 20.

Re: Coronavirus outbreak

Presumably we have been successful in flattening the curve - either that or our NHS is much better than we thought. We've been told the whole time we're 2 weeks behind Italy. Its been over 2 weeks since Italy first started having to triage patients and there were the horror stories coming out. This...

More than 10% mortality rate now, hold on to your hats folks. Where do you get this number? The Official Cases/Deaths ratio is 5.53% The Death rate on Resolved Cases (Deaths v Recovered) is 20.43% If you are referring to Cumulative Cases Today-14 v Deaths today... 18-Mar - - - 01-Apr - - - 214,894 ...

I assume the "online learning resource" is just a link to OMA posting history.

Re: Finance

Jeez, so much for being free of FP constraints next season (Covid19 factor excluded) that's much more than the loss we'd have purged from the records at the end of this season that screwed us hard! How/why did we suddenly spend so much at the end of last summer? I still don't understand last summer...

Re: Enjoying or hating the no football era?

If it lasts a year or more, how many businesses in the entertainment/leisure industry will still exist after a year of no income? In two months time people will have had enough, and the only things that will stop people going out are martial law or astronomical death rates, leaving them too scared ...

Found it? France: on April 3 the French Government reported 17,827 additional cases and 532 additional deaths f rom nursing homes that had not been reported previously. Re: Enjoying or hating the no football era?

Am I the only one who think's there's a good chance things won't resume at all this year and possibly even next year? In what circumstances will people be able to meet in 10's of thousands? Surely this will only be once the virus is eradicated or we have a vaccine, which is very unlikely to be any e...

Re: Coronavirus outbreak

That prick on the daily news conference saying masks give you no protection, that will be very comforting to all the NHS staff that wear them. Dumb question but are the masks used hospitals the same as the masks used by punters in the street? They easily can be. Punters can get the exact same masks...

Re: Coronavirus outbreak

I have to say that I continue to think that the fear over this COVID-19 issue is overdone. I have just checked the Gov flu report which details flu deaths for the four years from 2014/15 through to 2017/18. An average of 21,155 died in the UK during these four years from flu including sadly a numbe...

Re: Coronavirus outbreak

They`re talking blackouts now, nice to see we will have them when other worse hit counties have managed ok. Whats the reasoning? Is there much of a net difference in energy demand? Shops and retail obviously closed but people are home all day watching TV, heating the house and cooking chicken goujo...

Snowball Weakness?

My first walk since being ill. Exactly five miles.
I usually do that in 1:23-1:26

Today 1Hr 45! about 4 minutes a mile slower. That's terrible!

Quit hogging all the exercise hours.
