Re: Speculation - Kevin Doyle

Super Kevin Bremner! Says on his Twitter: What's all this about toffees? More of a fudge man myself

It's not "his" twitter.

Re: Back from the game - Bristol City (H)

Snowball Griffin had a very good game, apart from the mix up with Gorks that almost gave away a goal.

Give me strength.

Re: Back from the game - Hull

Seriously poor set pieces from Harte again today. He seems to go through periods where his deliveries are rubbish and others where they're good. Hal's corners were pretty decent mind.

Re: What the papers say: Hull

No mention of the controversial nature of the winning goal, were they actually at the game? Was it controversial? Player offside doesn't play the ball. Reading players stop playing and stand and watch while a player clearly not offside runs through and scores. The only thing in any doubt is why the...

Re: The importance of 1 result - being fickle is justified

rfc2001 I think we have strength and depth after today's performance by winning with two of best players out. Might be light in CM though. If we lose two central mid's; who can then come in. Bryn is not good enough!!

Two? Ledge and who else...?

Re: What do we need in the January Sales?

Sell Bryn, sadly, get that loan fella back to Spurs at any cost. Move M Williams out permanantly, and Howard and B Williams. Possibly even move Tabby on as well. Only sign a striker if we lose one from Church.Hunt. Mansett. CB we have cover with Morrison, use him or lose him. Get Ugwu into the play...

Re: BURNLEY MATCH THREAD sponsored by Adrian Heath

royalexile Manset ran straight off the pitch at the end. Hopefully to see if Tabb is ok. Decent celebration for the goal.

But then about 5 minutes after the final whistle he was back out walking around the penalty area on his own!

BBC Piss Poor Journo Reading will be looking to extend their unbeaten run to five matches against Derby on Tuesday.

Pity the Burnley game was our 5th game unbeaten!

heathrow royal Think that was pearce but could be wrong

Cummings should have easily dealt with that ball, but it's one mistake on an otherwise good night for him. Definitely our MOTM.

Re: Back From The Game - Coventry Away

handbags_harris I've seen the Coventry goal now, and quite frankly any 'keeper should be embarrassed to concede from that angle inside the near post. It can be considered nothing except absolute p*ss-poor goalkeeping.

Spot on!

Barry the bird boggler 20 Feb 10 > Blackpool 2-0 Reading

I seem to remember he shirked out of sending Keith Southern off for an ugly two-footed lunge in that game.

Great game after the torrid Liverpool affair. united ar just too good attacking and without Fwank on the pitch there was little Chelsea could do about it. Torres TBF had a pretty good game, hos goal was excellent. highlight of the game was Smalling shouting his own name as he scored the first I tho...

Sarah Star Apparently Pearce made the Championship team of the week, but not Gorks :?

Unsurprising! Thought Pearce was marginally the better of the two at the weekend. Marginally.

Sarah Star Williams probably... both of them... one on loan and one transferred for good.

Williams will go, guaranteed, Brian was very frank about that on Thursday.

For me it has to be Glen Little's vs Plymouth, top lob Romain Larrieu who's about 7ft 10' is no mean feat!
