Re: BFTG Hull.

That was a terrible result against a team that came for a 0-0 and somehow after going behind fluked a deflected goal.

We weren't great but Hull were dire and we really should be beating teams like this.

I have to ask what does Aluko add and how does he get on ahead of Puscas.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Hull City (h) sponsored by Billy Whitehurst

I'm still seething about the goal they scored in 2012, the ball was played through to a player who was way offside. He goes for the ball and everyone expects the whistle to blow. Just as he gets there he doesn't touch the ball and his colleague who was onside collects the ball and scores. There was ...

Re: BFTG Cardiff Home

BBC highlights of the game are disappointing, a lot of shots from Cardiff going wide or over, but failed to show Meite's one on one or the offside goal. Stil lol at Bamba's miss.

BFTG Cardiff Home

Overall a pretty decent result against a pretty strong Cardiff side. It's a pity we didn't have a stronger bench or we could have won this. Their goal was pretty much their only attack in the first half, and we were playing really well. The equaliser was deserved but looked a mile offside, I guess t...

Re: BFTG Millwall Away

Top post Papes.

Makes my prematch at the Market Porter look a bit lame. I did manage to down some of Maria's bubble on the way to London Bridge.

BFTG Millwall Away

We weren't very good. Millwall worked hard to stop up playing and the game looked to be headed for 0-0. They get a lucky deflection from a corner, the rub salt into the wound with a breakaway goal following a clear foul we didn't get. We had one chance all game that Swift hit over the top. We offere...

Pretty sure on my last trip I visited broken Britain at The Gavel 'spoons on Lytham Road.

Still £2 a pint for Old Speckled Hen IIRC.

Re: BFTG - Blackpool

Of the youngsters I thought Howe was pretty decent, Olise Ok and Burley poor.

Still not sure about Loader, there's something about him but apart from the goals - and this one was something special - he does little else.

Re: BFTG - Derby

I thought we made hard work of a game that should have been over after the sending off. We looked quite fragile until the second went in. All credit to derby that made us work hard for the points. Shout out to meeting Maguire post match, who oddly remembered us meeting at Leicester away at the Count...

Re: BFTG Stoke

A decent point but a terrible game almost devoid of any entertainment on a cold windy day. We had a lot of possession but it was Stamball going nowhere. The team seemed incapable of creating any threat and I barely recall a chance or a save at either end. Stoke had what few chances there where with ...

Re: BFTG Birmingham

I didn't see it like a lot of others, perhaps RTGs but I thought Brum were pretty ordinary, they worked hard, closed down, fluked 2 goals and generally cheated and worked their way to 3 points. I hate to say it but we are too nice and need to aspire to their levels of cheating, particularly away. Mo...

Re: BFTG - Luton

We were actually very good today against a side above us in the table, we made them look ordinary. Great goals and we could of had more, no last 20min hanging on, we dominated what looked like a relegation side. I have to say Bowen had worked out how to play a 4-4-2 diamond and Luton had no answer. ...

Re: BFGT Preston (H)

I'm also wondering how Preston were second in the table, they were pretty woeful. A team whose game plan was to get players booked, feign injury, harass the ref , then nick a win from a set piece. We battled as we have done previously, missed our few chances ( Puscas, Ejaria) then nicked it at the e...

Re: BFTG Bristol

A team with confidence who took their chances would have won that game, that's all we're lacking. In any other game one of Meite, Puscas or Boye would have put away their chance. Bristol were bang average, but they have a system and everyone knows how to play it. That's what we need to do, stability...

BFTG Huddersfield Away

That was a game of two halves, first half we were utterly shit and barely got a touch. For all the possession they had I can't recall any chances Second half we started playing and had a couple of real chances before ojaria scored. Second was a header right in the corner from Morrison, we've missed ...

I thought all WBA pen shouts were blatant dives, manufacturing contact and falling over dramatically.

For such a great bunch of lads they are surprising cheating divers.

GTFI - what a crack from Ejaria. Why didn't they close him down!
