Re: BFIT - Wycombe (H)

As others have said, a truly crap first half. We were dragged down to their level. Second half was better but only a bit. Saved by a long punt forward and a great bit of skill from Joao The subs did make a difference but that was also because Wycombe stopped playing spoiling tactics and tried to sco...

Wycombe are such blatant time wasters, been doing it since the start.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Wycombe Wanderers (h) sponsored by Keith Scott

This is terrible, this is the first game I've watched live this season and we look like relegation fodder.

We'll lose this to a set piece or penalty.

Re: England - the future....

I'd always thought that England home games had to be on free to air, but it turns out this nations league let them sell the rights separately and avoid showing it for free. Anyway I'm not reading too much into it, Belgium seem to ease off after we got ahead and de Bruyne went off. A very strange sub...

Re: England - the future....

Bloody awful. If Chilwell is unwell, surely Saka deserves a chance? We're so imbalanced. Mount over Grealish on current form is criminal; I'd suggest community service and fine as a minimum. Dier is shit and surely Coady deserves to play. 3 CBs with Henderson and Rice ahead had resulted in sideways...

Re: Football - The Covid Years

The main problem is the PFA and players contracts. The clubs are lumbered with players on contracts they can't afford to pay and a government who doesn't want to step in and fund that with tax payers money whilst at the same time stopping clubs from receiving gate receipts. It's a mess that looks li...

Not sure we should be selling strikers to relegation rivals.

Re: BFTifollow - Derby

I didn't watch on ifollow but have just seen the highlights, they couldn't muster anything to show for Derby so it looked like we completely dominated chances. Joao could of had a couple more and Swift missed a sitter. When I saw the team I thought it looked like our strongest, and I like that we no...

Re: BFiFollow - Colchester

Past caring after I saw the team, second string defence/midfield - at least we had a decent attack.

Not sure this was the way to go for the first match of a new manager.

Re: FFP? what?

The point is that FFP has no place in the context of the current climate. Owners will have to be subsidising clubs to keep them afloat as the matchday revenue stream has gone. They can't compare fairly over a 3 year cycle when at least 1 of those years planned income has crashed whilst contractual c...

Re: The footballer gets arrested thread

Does anyone actually believe the Greek police? Not sure Maguire's "some Albanians injected my sister with drugs"* defence definitely sounds 100% legit. * or was it that she got stabbed as was the original excuse 'leaked' to the press. As I understood it his sister got injected with someth...

They would have to handle groups of people if they started a restricted allocation, ie I wouldn't want to attend if my son couldn't.

Re: Back from I Follow Luton

Think we need to sign a CB regardless, but get Moore off the books and a decent fee for him £3m+ and that would probably fund two in fee and wages. Seems reasonable. I don't know why but CB seems to me the one position that while you can have super players like Sonko, the threshold seems a lot lowe...

The difference was that they didn't press us and let us play, it turns out we've actually got quite a talented team if teams let us play.

The difference today was the midfield, playing Rino and Pele meant we weren't completely run over.

That put's them bottom on 38pts, 5 points from safety. Probably worth a shot based on their current form WDWWW
