Re: BFTT

Puscas weirdly reminds me of Hope Akpan, occasional moments of real quality mixed among mostly looking like a non league player.

Re: Bowen interview

Well he came across well here a couple of months ago. But he led to the sacking of our Messiah Gomes with that amazing win percentage.... As for the wonderful words from the Snake Bowen about 'No Excuses', he and his great mates Niedzwiecki and Hughes trotted that out when they were at Southampton ...

Re: CONFIMRED - Mark Bowen

Fact is - Bowen signed most of the new arrivals. Gomes couldn’t get the best out of them. Makes total sense for Bowen to now try and steer us to safety with this squad of players. Looking forward to Saturday now. Didn't he only become sporting director once the transfer window was shut? Don't remem...

Re: CONFIMRED - Mark Bowen

Given how this has gone down I hope Bowen goes full troll mode and starts Gunter as right back on Saturday. Sure its particularly uninspiring, but isn't the Reading way to give new players and manager at least 45mins of their first match before the motivational booing starts? :D Start walker, Gunte...

Howe out?

Since being reappointed as chief executive in December 2018 Nigel Howe has: Sacked Paul Clement as we were starting to show some form. Taken 3 weeks to appoint Jose gomes despite him having nothing on his CV to suggest he would be a successful championship manager. Employed a remarkably scatter gun ...

I reckon we're much more likely to end up with someone like karanka or costinha than ainsworth, or Hughton.

Re: Next Manager

Mikele Leigertwood Knows the club, knows the players, should have the fans on side Win win Doesn't know management. Doesn't actually know many of the players at all given he left 4-6 years ago. Awful suggestion. Hes been working in various roles at the club for about 4 years :| Currently u18s coach.

It will come down to whichever agent treats Howe to the best lunch.

We won't be successful again until we have a proper structure and recruitment strategy.

Re: Gomes, Should he stay or should he go? Mk2

I can't see how he's going to turn it around, we improved last season by signing 2 or 3 of the better players in the league (for their position), now we have spent the most money in the division and look clueless. I remember in the summer Liam Moore saying they were going to start preseason with lot...

Re: Worst start for many years.

Last season we had to play something like 38 games against teams who finished above is in the table, whereas Sheffield United were able to only play 2 games.

Bit unfair isn't it?
