Old Man Andrews We've got the Messi v Ronaldo clash to look forward to featuring the most boring debate in football resurfacing. Oh joy.

Re: Champions League/Europa League 2020/21

Well thats Manchester United fcuked then. Just seen that, oh dear oh dear. I guess they'll probably have a decent chance of qualifying for Europa League and then trying to win that. For me, that would be more of an achievement than qualifying from the group stages and then losing in the next round ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Watford (h) sponsored by Chris Armstrong

Oh dear! Always a worry when the manager resorts to a double negative. Quote from JLow's press conference: "We’re not going to say we’re not looking for depth, we’re very happy with the guys we have. If there are chances to improve our depth we’ll take a decision. We have to focus on the next ...

Re: Rumour - Rodrigo Riquelme

If it is over money, they are welcome to him.

As others have said, I have never seen him play so cannot really comment. Obviously looks like a promising player from the things you see and hear though, will be interesting to see how he does.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Watford (h) sponsored by Chris Armstrong

Sounds like Joao is going to be assessed right before the match on Saturday with regards to his fitness.

I guess as its not a hammy or anything like that, he could probably play with it at 80% or at least be on the bench without too much risk of doing too much more damage.

1) they all have turning circles of oil tankers
2) they are all as slow as oil tankers
3) you can't get away with just kicking the nippy forwards anymore

Re: Season 20/21

Decision to let Howe go is looking pretty questionable again. Between end of last season and our two RB injuries he could easily have amassed a decent number of appearances by Xmas. Howe is League One standard - would offer up more about him and players view, but wont be getting into that debate. H...

Re: European Leagues Thread 2012/2013

Neymar has been caught on video calling a Japanese player from Marseille 'Chinese sh*t' Happened in the game with all the sendings off. That was a couple of weeks back but some pundit watched it back and spotted it. while you have to lip read it you can apparently see fairly clearly what he is sayi...

Ross Barkley joins Villa from Chelsea on season long loan.

Think that is a pretty good signing from them. Looking pretty solid for this season, imo.

Indeed, if there was a good time to get (what seems like) a minor injury, this is probably it. Yup, he needs to stop making a habit of getting injured though With my minor understanding of sports science, at least it was a contact injury. He fell awkwardly and his shoulder popped out; that can happ...

yep good news. could have been a lot worse Good news indeed, obviously you want your best players fit all the time, but I think if there was a game he was going to miss, I am not too disappointed he is going to miss this one, seeing as I think we'd struggle to get anything from it anyway.
