OMA's gone quiet. FineRain too. Now there's your spineless parasites. Real factsssssssss Agreed that if you’re going to pour negativity at the first sign of trouble, you should weather the storm if you are proven incorrect. So was a spirited 2-2 draw with top of the league worthy of being called sp...

Re: Gomes after 10 League Games

Doesn't matter if Gomes bought them in or not - he has got each of the loanees to buy in to the ethos of what we are doing - it is a long time since I have seen loan players really battle for the team - hopefully one or two stay but if not (and if we stay up) they will be certain of a warm welcome ...

Re: BFTG - PNE

Nice for Gomes and the team to beat a side on a 12 game unbeaten streak relatively easily. The more time Gomes has with this group, the more it seems to be having a positive effect. Even the doomsday sayers on here have dramatically changed their tune or gone quiet. Far more readable on that front.

Re: Injury & Suspension Watch : 2018/2019

If the medical staff aren’t overseeing/heavily influenced in all of that, then there is plenty of room for improvement.

Of course there are similarities with OGS and his increased work rate in training with the increase in injuries at United....

Re: MATCHWATCH : Leeds United (h) sponsored by Brian McDermott

Results have been more promising and Gomes and the recruitment needs praise but I fear that we will be punished by better sides who play with a lot more confidence. Thanks to the Ipswich result, we don’t need a result here but a point would be another blow to our rivals. I feel that even with the ab...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Wigan Athletic (h) sponsored by Nicky Forster

I do enjoy the premature doom and gloom, overly pessimistic posts on here.

Showed some real fight, eventually. If that doesn’t help confidence and building of character, I don’t know what will.

And we all worried where the goals would come from without Olly

Re: Rinhomota

You guys might prefer to watch journeymen failures lose regularly at championship level. Id prefer to watch Reading products win more often at a lower level. I'd prefer to watch the blend of experience and youth that Gomes is putting together play his exciting style of skilful football and have us ...

Re: Rinhomota

While a youth infused League One Reading could be fun to watch next season, I'd much rather we stay up even if we ended up in another relegation scrap. While I feel the gap has widened and we should get promoted again within a season or two, there is still no guarantee we'd be in for a quick return...

So you are saying that neither manager has had much influence on the transfer market?

Which players have had the best impact since joining the club? Martinez? Oliveira? Miazga?

Re: BFTG Rotherham

Put another way, what would you say if they had spunked 20mil on transfer fees in Jan and sold nobody? What's the total net outlay been in both the summer and winter transfer windows. Hindsight suggests that 10m for Moore may well have given Clement to strengthen the squad. Rather than rely on free...
