Re: MATCHWATCH : Middlesbrough (a) sponsored by a Simon Cox chip

I think the last couple of results adds a dose of reality to our season, I don't think we'll be in a relegation scrap but it's perhaps too soon to talk about promotion. I missed most of the game due to a family event but it seems like we were unlucky to lose but that's the way it can go sometimes.

Re: Bristol City (A)

I hate everything about this, it's a rip-off price but most Championship clubs are charging similar prices, if fans don't go then the home fans of those teams have a nice laugh about how bad our away following is.

I don't like that Prutton suddenly has us down to win every game.

Re: BFTG - Charlton

Second half the entire team gave up. Pathetic. Lazy passing and absolutely no energy or commitment. Jaoa having had a decent first half frankly was a disgrace second half. Throwing his hands up every time a ball didn’t reach him, pointing the finger at his team mates and gave up after the about 55 ...

Re: David Meyler - Reading's biggest ever mercenary?

Meyler is a bit of a weird case for me, he didn't seem like a malicious person but he wasn't quite the player we expected him to be, as for his e-sports career, that only exists because of his professional football career, now that he's retired I wonder if he'll actually stay relevant.

Charlton are one of those shit negative sides that will just grind out results, a better team will take them apart.

Brave subs by Gomes but they just didn't work, I don't think we'd score even if we were still playing now

Re: Have we sold the Mad Stad to the owners/someone else?

Dai bought the stadium last year. It was widely reported. I would say the big difference is that our owners are investing large sums of their own money into the infrastructure of the club rather than mortgaging the ground to do it. Before FFP, they would just have invested money into the club direc...

Re: Who do you want in Round Three?

I'd like to get Spurs, plenty of Spurs supporters in the family and my nephew who is a season ticket holder with me and my Dad supports both Spurs and Reading, he was 3 when we last played them, time to test the loyalties and all that.

They have some good points on their forum tbh: "Reading has got the dirtiest KFC I've ever seen, that dirty that I walked straight past " "It had the same greasy hand marks and tomato sauce splatters over the windows for the whole 2 weeks I worked there." "I've always stood...

Careful everyone, the Charlton fans are reading our comments and have taken a few of the negative ones to dissect  FYI for the Addicks looking in, yes I made the comment about Bolton being 3rd after 5 games, they even beat us, it was more stating that it's too early to judge the league table, a...

Re: Who do you want in Round Three?

Yeovil are in the National League. It seems only yesterday we were drawing at home to a 8 man Yeovil. That was when Brighton pipped us on the last day to the playoffs and started calling us tinpot  Those extra 2 points would have mattered They got dicked in the semi-final so it all worked out.

Delighted with that line up. Well done Gomes. Feck the cup, let's smash Charlton. +1 Unlike others I never had a problem with Steve Coppell's approach to cup games. We have bigger fish to fry and these players need 1st team football. Nine changes. Utter bollox. Either take it seriously or don’t ent...

Re: Rival Watch

Sutekh Feds got a rare start for Stoke yesterday and certainly stopped Stoke seeing a heavier defeat.

Sadly looks like Leeds will be going up though, could even afford to have Costa on the bench for 80 minutes.

They looked like they were going up last season as well.
