Re: Black History Month, Favourite Black Reading Player.

This is RoyallyFcukingStupid we are talking about. Fcuk off SADman you little pussyboy. Why don't you get back to your personal vendetta against Stam just because he replaced Brian, just like you did with Adkins. Get over it you fairy, if Brian was still here we'd be languishing in the bottom six w...

Re: Black History Month, Favourite Black Reading Player.

Lita for me, loved him when he was here. My second RFC hero, Curo was the first. Thought he was a more talented player/goalscorer than Doyle, even Kitson, which was probably true, he just didn't show it enough. Those saying he was a pcunt/idiot off the field are probably the same people that worshi...

Re: Black History Month, Favourite Black Reading Player.

Those saying he was a pcunt/idiot off the field are probably the same people that worship Friday. Or maybe they're not, and just need to lighten up a bit. Tbf mate a lot of us who worship Friday were 10 years old when we watched him. Just like the "best black player" thing depends on when...

They were meant to be making a film based on the book about this legend, what's happened to that anyone heard anything? Last thing I heard was this, which was over a year ago now - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-south-east-wales-32720391 Friday was dead before I was even born but I find him a fa...

Re: CONFIRMED - Yakou Meite

Gutted for this man having his first goal for us disallowed on Saturday, looked onside to me. Good finish as well. Been wondering for a while if Meite could play as the guy up top instead of Kermie? Reckon Meite could bring more goals to the team which is what we need, still lacking that goalscorer....

Re: MATCHWATCH : Aston Villa (h) sponsored by a Terry Bell own goal

Sad that the unbeaten home record is gone but its not really a surprise, we just don't do enough with the possession we have. It's a work in progress I know, but we can only get so far with the team like this, it was a let down in the summer that we did everything right except get the striker we nee...

Thought it might be a bad time to play Villa with Bruce having just come in, but come on Reading we can win this!

Re: BFTG - Brentford (a)

I just watched the highlights on SS, so obviously can't give much of a view but from what I watched, Brentford seemed that bit more clinical going forward and infront of goal, and also took adavantage of a couple of errors from us. We certainly had our chances too, Evans headed against the post at 0...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Brentford (a) sponsored by a Cureton special

4-1, I'm afraid is not acceptable, I can't disregard our recent good form but we can't keep getting tonked away from home, 2 more wins than defeats and a -3 goal difference says it all really. Well its only happened twice but I agree, 4-1 not good. Just when I thought the scoreline was going to be ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Brentford (a) sponsored by a Cureton special

We do seem to be getting rather a lot of penalties at the moment.

Perhaps even more unusually, we are scoring them. Scored all the ones we've got this season apart from the one McCleary missed at Barnsley from which he scored the rebound anyway.

Re: BFTG - 'uddersfield

Anyone care to suggest what it is that has allowed Stam (untried, inexperienced in this county and league) to look like he knows what he is doing when recent managers with more experience have struggled ? Beginners luck ? At a guess; commands respect and has brought in players he feels can implemen...

Re: BFTG - 'uddersfield

Turned out to be a better game than it first looked. A draw would have been fair but I'd say if anyone deserved the win it was us. Cagey and pretty even until the red card. Cant remember us creating much first half than Swift's shot that came off the post and a couple more long range attempts. Got t...

Re: Rumour - Asamoah Gyan

Not sure why people are against this! - He is used to playing as the centre part of a front three for his country, somewhere we are very short of cover - where he has been prolific - if against "weaker" teams (Sudan, Angola and England). - He averages a goal every 215 minutes in both the ...

Re: Vydra bought by Derby - for £8M!!!!!

It does seem crazy considering his record for us. Clearly he and Derby are keen to show that was a one off. The current situation at Derby doesn't help. They paid nearly £4m for Blackman and he hasn't even scored for them yet. The only striker at the club thats had any kind of recent form is Martin ...
