Re: MATCHWATCH : Sheffield United (h) sponsored by the magic of the cup

Facebook feed is a godsend for those some distance away or with kids who can't go but everyone else should make the effort. I'm going straight from work (Leatherhead) and will drive home after (Farnham) so potentially a very late night but who cares. Football is far more important than work!

Re: Club 1871 - the What, When, Where, How, Who & Why Thread

For me it's just preferring a 'Side on' view of the game. Pretty much all away games you're behind the goal and it's harder to see what's going on. The whole 'atmosphere is better in 1871' isn't an issue to me, but fair play to them for generating more noise most games. Thought they were excellent ...

Re: Club 1871 - the What, When, Where, How, Who & Why Thread

Club 1871 is sold out. So much for the moron on the previous page saying it was finished........ You've changed your tune... I did a long time ago, people seem to forget that. It isn't for me but I did go and watch a game in Club 1871 and thought it was perfectly fine if you like that kind of thing...

Old Man Andrews Terrible player, playing for a terrible club in a really poor league.

Try again.

At 23, I'd also say he has time to improve as a player.

I don't really know too much about the Dutch league, but I guess you know best.

As the forums European football aficionado.

They won't be losing tonight, they will be showing their undoubted class and superior ability. Leeds’ record in London in their last 10 games: 0-1-9 They’ll do well to win at Brentford tonight Your stats are completely irrelevant and dare I say childish too. They will win tonight and win comfortabl...

Tilehurstsouthbank It's happening again. It's happening againnnnn! Leeds Utd, It's happening again.

They will win the league by at least 6 points, they are clearly a class above the rest. All teams can go on a bad run.

This is epic level trolling...

Re: Elm Park Years

Joined the party a little late compared to a lot of you. My first full season was 1989-90 but I'd seen a few games here and there for the two years before. I was on the town end up to and including our promotion season when Quinn and Archie were banging the goals in, then went into the Southbank in ...

Re: Ayub Timbe.

Judging by all the comments from our new swathe of Kenyan fans, Ayub Timbe is how he is known. The last name is not necessarily the "surname", it may be his father's name. This can be a way of distinguishing a number of people who have the same family name. (Or indeed, Masika may be his s...
