Re: MATCHWATCH : Blackburn Rovers (h) sponsored by a point off Europe

Jlow been on the sauce? WTF is this? The Royals won their last game against Middlesbrough 1 - 0, and they’ll be hoping for the same if not better this Saturday. Blackburn is doing better than Reading in the Championship table. The Rovers are at 12th in the table, while the Royals are all the way do...

Re: Champions League/Europa League 2019/20

Not a good night for English sides tonight. Have no idea why Klopp persists with Milner and Henderson in midfield, especially when they also have Shaqiri, Keita, Lallana, Chamberlain and Wijnaldum in reserve. They’re both too similar and Henderson is clearly better than Milner Klopp has won the Cha...

Re: Champions League/Europa League 2019/20

VAR continuing to be a farce, no surprises there although in its defence, it hasn’t been as slow as I originally anticipated in the Premier League Not a good night for English sides tonight. Re: The Academy/Development squads watch thread 2015//16

Agreed, if you can't show off a bit when you're 5-0 up, when can you? Sounds to me like the Swansea players lost their heads. It’s humiliating to be losing 5-0 at any level though, seeing someone showboating wouldn’t help He's not there to help them feel less bad about being dicked. I understand th...

Re: The Academy/Development squads watch thread 2015//16

Yeah, saw that Marshall wasn't impressed at all by Olise there. There's a lot of potential with him but naturally he still has a lot to learn. Showboating at 5-0 up is not a sensible idea If there's a time for showboating, 5-0 would be towards the top of my list. Agree, it's not good, but pro...

Re: Ex Players

Jack Stacey made his PL debut on Sunday for Bournemouth vs Everton and by all accounts, did pretty well. Be interesting to see how he develops in the Prem considering he jumped straight from League One up there

Re: The Academy/Development squads watch thread 2015//16

nice report. It kicked off because Olise started showboating ridiculously which some of the Swansea players took exception to and gave him a rough tackle or two. Yeah, saw that Marshall wasn't impressed at all by Olise there. There's a lot of potential with him but naturally he still has a lot to l...

Rafael Yiadom Miazga Morrison Moore Richards Pele Ejaria Swift Joao Puscas Virginia, Blackett, Rino, Barrett, Boye, Baldock, Meite Bench competition is heating up. You could argue the case for McIntyre, Obita, Adam, Loader and Olise to all be there too. Hoping we get to see a few of those on Wednesd...

Re: The Academy/Development squads watch thread 2015//16

Few people complaining about McCleary starting but I’ve no problem with it - in the case that’s he needed in the first team, it’s good for him to have had some practice. Same with Gunter

Re: BFTG Boro

TBF I`m reacting to the social media kids. I was listening to the Berks commentary during the game and any of this "Sack Gomes" nonsense starts fairly and squarely at Tim Dellors door, I couldn't believe it when shortly after we conceded he began musing along the lines of "I'm not sa...

Re: Bristol City (A)

£32 is fairly steep but agree, if you’re complaining about it, simply don’t go. It’s a better message to send rather than complaining but turning up anyway However, in the era of expensive tickets, I’m always disappointed about fan reactions to our scheme. Most either complain about Club1871 taking ...

Ok sorry on that, it must have been Ian Royal or Spacey?. Well seeing as I'm IR and Spacey hasn't been a regular for about 10 years, you're talking nonsense. As I'm sure which ever regular you are behind the new username knows. Ok dug out one of your many love in posts on Rakels = Re: Deniss Rakels...

Re: This is Poor

Out of interest did you think we were poor against Cardiff / WBA / Huddersfield? Look at the facts. The new signings have been here for 4 weeks. Get a grip man I posted the following on Aug 25th: "well one thing is for sure, we are not going up if we continue to play like this. Once the season...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Middlesbrough (a) sponsored by a Simon Cox chip

Yeah that's nonsense from Urz who has a real boner for hating Meite. He's always been a player who needs a consistent run of about 5 games to get going. I haven't seen a lot of Boye, but what I have seen he consistently falls over the ball and gives it away cheaply. Not writing him off but to compa...

Re: BFTG Boro

Fair enough. There is one particular tool on there who keeps repeating he wants Gomes out but the vast majority are telling him to shut up. As long as we show improvement this season then I would hope Gomes is still here in May. Not sure our owners will see it that way though. We were dead and buri...

Re: BFTG Boro

I keep hearing about Meite’s limitations. He is under-estimated on here. He is good in the air, pretty quick, puts himself about and reasonably composed in front of goal. His first touch isn’t great but that’s why he is playing in the Championship. His goal conversion rate was impressive last seaso...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Middlesbrough (a) sponsored by a Simon Cox chip

Meite gets an easy ride by so many people. Boye seems to be an easy victim so far. Boye is miles better than Meite No he's not. People recognise Meite has limitations. You just have such a hard on for hating him that you think that people who have a more realistic and not as extreme view as yours o...

sorry no excuses. Boro were a poor team but we were just as bad. I know its early in the season and, and, and but today was very disappointing Was watching Norwich vs City earlier. You know, 12 months ago approx Norwich went to Ipswich and went 1-0 down. Had they lost that game, Farke may have gone...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Middlesbrough (a) sponsored by a Simon Cox chip

I share your frustration with Baldock urrzzz I could really see him being useful playing with Puscas or Joao. The others too similar Yep. Also would have kept McNulty too. But he’s done here, and it’s a crying shame because he’s playing well at Sunderland so far. He’s a different option like Baldoc...
