Re: Ex Players

indeed - so the reverse - implying he had nothing to do with the improvement once he joined, but the latest results are all his fault is idiocy. I'm glad you agree with my point. It's a good thing nobody said that. I just pointed out that is it interesting another set of fans is criticising him for...

Re: Ex Players

Yes. You know he didn't join at the start of the season, don't you? Oh I do but I was checking to make sure you weren't really suggesting that a single player can be the reason for an uptick in fortunes but not the reason for a downturn in fortunes. Because, you know, that would make you sound like...

Re: Ex Players

you mean the section of the fanbase that would ignore the uptick in results since he joined Charlton, but blame him when the club loses a couple of games in a row. That section? yeah, every club has them. What's new? Weren't they in the Championship last season? Yes. You know he didn't join at the ...

Re: Ex Players

Well, well, well what a surprise. Next stop Newport or Wrexham? Just incredible that the valid criticism that many of us leveled at Gunter for years, yet was dismissed by many, has been noticed within half a season by another fan base. you mean the section of the fanbase that would ignore the uptic...

Re: Ex Players

Lots of Charlton fans complaining about Gunter now on twitter. They say he doesn't close down his man and have no idea why he keeps getting selected. Uncanny. Well, well, well what a surprise. Re: Ex Players

Whore Jackie Chelsea's longest serving player, Lucas Piazon, has left after 10 years, with one league appearance, 9 years ago. On loan with us and six other clubs, he's joined Braga on a four year deal.

Only 7 clubs??? Sure, Michael Hector managed more than that before he left us at the ripe age of 23!

I have noticed that in you Ian lately which is good. It certainly does pollute the board, having needless and pointless arguments

Wanna fight about it?

Only if it leads to sex afterwards

Only way I know how xx

Re: MATCHWATCH : Luton Town (a)

Ian frequently just ducks out of arguments when he gets bored. Just leaves like it means nothing to him. Bastard. I hate when he does that. Makes it certain that the whole thing was a waste of time. I've grown as a person, and I'm mindful not to pollute the board with circular arguments going nowhe...

I've grown as a person, and I'm mindful not to pollute the board with circular arguments going nowhere. If you can't reach some form of closure in two or three posts, you certainly won't in 5 or 10. I know you do it because you know how much it hurts me. You're a cruel, cruel man. Man up Sethmondo....

Re: MATCHWATCH : Luton Town (a)

Hound JLow reminds me there was no East either along with Watson.

Those two surely on their way unless injured.

Why did I think East was out on loan?

Re: MATCHWATCH : Luton Town (a)

If winning a cup game with your full strength team is seen as a guarantee of ongoing success, what would be the implications of playing your firstbteam but losing.? Worse than not playing your first team? Very fair point. Risk vs reward eh! Anyway. It is an interesting debate. Not that the TB is th...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Luton Town (a)

Because of that purple patch many fans are talking up our chances-even Zip spoke of threatening the automatics if we beat Brentford next Saturday and I get the impression that many think that play-offs are a shoe-in, completely disregarding the likes of Stoke, 'Boro , Bristol City etc. Whilst I thi...

Re: Ayub Timbe.

+1 I imagine the transfer fee and clauses may be more a case of where the owner wants the money to go for tax and financial fair play reasons, in fact if the another club the owner has is cash rich they may arrange for them to buy all/one of our surplus players for a few £m as a way of getting mone...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Luton Town (a)

To be wrapped up in of course -presumably you are aware of the term? Yes I am indeed. Just a bit flabbergasted by how extreme your argument was. Not risking players in a match that means very little to our overall season is not some slippery slope that leads to fear over training injuries. Its inte...
