Re: Pedro Mendes

Is our late summer spending coming back to haunt us with little wiggle room for more signings? Especially with you know who back? It seems unusually quiet. Surely the usual state is it is quiet and then we suddenly sign someone no one had anticipated ? We'll have known well ahead what our finances ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Cardiff City (h) sponsored by Jason Bowen

I notice when buying tickets for this online the system doesn’t give an option for you to load the game onto your member card instead you only have options to pick them up from the ground or print them out at home. Very odd. I thought the same at first glance, but did eventually find the option to ...

Re: BFTG Cardiff Home

Four arrests for something that apparently didn’t happen Amazing.... I’m guessing they just grabbed 4 randoms for looking a ‘a bit suspicious ‘ and will fit them up with a bit of fake camera work. They should never be let across the bridge again. I hope Cardiff apologise for demanding an apology.

Re: BFTG Cardiff Home

The total lack of first team subs was certainly odd... even if the starting XI was fairly strong. Any chance Bowen is trying to make a statement about squad depth and signings? I would have thought there are much easier and more effective ways of doing that without throwing matches.... Which fit an...

Re: BFTG Cardiff Home

We are still mathematically able to reach the play offs. It is not even February yet and the history of the Championship shows that there is always the potential for a team to put a run together late on. Our players have already proven they can go toe to toe with the best in the league and if we ca...

Re: BFTG Cardiff Home

I don’t get the 11 changes and a load of kids on the bench. We are not going’ to reach the playoffs. We are 15th in the league it ain’t going to happen. But we had a great chance of making the quarterfinals or more with a favourable draw. No replays and penalties from the next round onwards. Instea...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Cardiff City (h) sponsored by Jason Bowen

Hopefully Miazga isn’t out for the season. If he isn’t then I think we have enough in Moore, Morrison and McIntyre with Blackett able to switch to cb if needed. Beyond that Osho and Burley can cover as 5th/6th choices. Except Moore is already playing with a long term injury that probably needs surg...

Re: BFTG Cardiff Home

Thought we did ok mainly in the first half and Meite could and should have won it with the one on one chance , mind you the ludicrous tannoy announcement blaring out as he looked to score may have put him off. Having sat in our usual Y24 seats first half we decided to do the old fashioned " go...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Cardiff City (h) sponsored by Jason Bowen

I agree completely with Bowen’s no-risk approach. He truly believes we have a chance of the playoffs. Although I won’t be too happy if he starts Burley and Osho in the replay now we are without Miazga and McIntyre - he surely has to bring in either one of Moore or Morrison for experience? McIntyre ...

Re: BFTG Cardiff Home

Good work out for some of our young players, particularly the defensive ones, against a side that lumped the ball into the box when ever they could and tried to get free kicks whenever they got into our half....very much like Harris's Millwall sides did. i thought the Cardiff fans jeering Miazga wh...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Cardiff City (h) sponsored by Jason Bowen

Just coming back - an odd game with an odd atmosphere. Home fans really didn’t seem that bothered about the game, very gentle Cardiff are a hideous team. Diving, cheating, little kicks, backing in - all sorts. Whole game plan to get corners and free kicks which they got loads of - and tbh pretty em...

Re: BFTG Cardiff Home

Not seen enough of Loader to have an opinion but... He scores shed-loads in the U23s...the potential is obviously there....just needs to bring it to the ‘mans game’ Great to hear Teddy Howe singing the praises of G Mac, Adam and the old boys who are helping to nurture them.....that’s why we have th...

With our new D0fF and Kia I would expect the chances of getting a South American striker are quite high.

Re: Rumour - Vito Mannone

apparently rejected the contract offer from Minnesota, from my understanding hes on mega-money, one of, if not the highest-paid player at the club. I wonder if any transfers in are dependant on him leaving this window. https://www.getreading.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/vito-mannone-minnesota...

Alright sweetheart, keep your knickers on. I didn't say it never happened did I. Hard for it to be most peoplr if I've not heard it once in 25 years though. Like you remember everything you have ever heard in the last 25 years.... I refer you back to 'most'. Why ? You seem to be delighting i...

It's just perspective init. Reading are the greatest team the world has ever seen, to me. Subjectively a d in no way objectively. Never heard anyone sing Berkshire's in 25 years. OK, if you've not heard it then it never happened..... Alright sweetheart, keep your knickers on. I didn't say it...

Re: Chant Lyrics

What are the lyrics to "Super Reading FC".... it sounds like "by far the Greatest Team the World has ever seen"..... which can't be right as we're not even the greatest team in the Championship. I think most people substitute ‘Berkshire’ for ‘the world’ . Seems to keep the pedan...

Re: BFTG - Forest

That's why you should never leave! I think the Forest goal did go out but to be fair to the linesman it would have been imposible for him to spot from his position. If he can't see it he can't give it. At least justice was done and it turned an ordinary afternoon in to a memerable one. Ref was terr...
