Re: 2019/2020 FA Cup

.....and needless to say, what would constitute ‘the best loser’? Maybe ‘names in the hat’ and hope for the best. That, or a bye is given, and the ‘losers pot’ gets shared out with all of the last rounds losers (i.e. probably about a tenner) Name out of the hat was what they did when Darlington got...

Re: 2019/2020 FA Cup

3rd QF is 40 ties 4th (and final) QF adds the conference to the 40 remaining sides, to give 32 games and then things get serious. I presume one team will get a bye in the 1st round proper after Bury’s demise rather than there being some “jigging” about by the FA like having a “lucky loser” be re-in...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Middlesbrough (a) sponsored by a Simon Cox chip

Reading are work in progress. There is a team there struggling to get out. Think JG is still trying to work out what his best team is but today was probably not helped by the disruption of the irritating international breaks and the travelling some players had to do around that (eg Pele wasn’t back ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Middlesbrough (a) sponsored by a Simon Cox chip

How many times has the phrase Boye’s given it away been heard?

Sounds an awful game between two pretty awful sides.

With the games coming up, Reading could well be bottom 3 by the next international break.

Lastly, Jose’s no. 2, Jorge Mendonca, will be hoping to achieve a hat trick of cautions.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Middlesbrough (a) sponsored by a Simon Cox chip

URZZZZ Weird stat but since 2015/16 our record after the international break is

W12
D2
L2

Those losses included two of our better performances of 17/18 against Wolves (H) and Bristol (H). We seem to have a habit of playing well after two weeks off

Well that’s the game jinxed then

Re: The Academy/Development squads watch thread 2015//16

Tom Holmes maybe back soon as it appears Roeselare may fold after being declared bankrupt today. Don’t think there is any suggestion they are going to fold. It’s a pretty small debt that has been unpaid and seems like the bankruptcy is a technicality because the club wasn’t represented in court. No...
