Re: Best signing of the summer window?

Rafael aswell so nice to have a nice pair of hands contracted to us. Joao, puscas, Ejaria and swift will get us up the top of the table next year if all kept. Rafael is the reason we are not heading to league 1 this year.

Re: January Transfer Window

Uber Actually playing for Vitória SC who are 4th in the Portuguese top division. Hendo has informed us of this. I am not sure Leon was suggesting Ola John is actually an Uber driver........     In hind sight he did have a bit of an attitude problem from what I remember.

Re: January Transfer Window

Beerens was certainly under rated in his time here - he was top class early in his first season particularly Really didn’t fit into Stam season 2 side though and was pretty awful in it Also think Ola John would fit in quite well for similar reasons always remember his pace and skill. he kind of dis...

Re: Predict the final 2019/20 Championship table

I'm not going to predict the league table, but want to pour cold water on relegation worries. We have 42 points. From the last 9 matches, since Fulham, we have had 7 points. This run has involved Leeds, WBA, Forest x2 and Millwall. If we repeat this form over the next 9 matches, which is a far easi...

Re: Bowen Out.

I feel the Summer transfer window will be incredibly important, we have a team that with the right additions could become a promotion chasing club I reckon. I agree I think the hardest part will be keeping the squad together next summer. If we didn’t sell anyone next summer (which is highly unlikel...

Re: February perspective

Hull will be a massive indicator of where we are. Cardiff were a strong challenge who should be further up the table, Milwall are on form and Forest are in and out of the play off spots. Hull on the other hand are on bad form, have just sold hands down there best 2 players and may well be the team t...

Jagermesiter1871 Sorry for creating you all this work linken. In my defense I was taking the piss when I said forest are tinpot and we should be beating them.

Re: Form

If you look at our past 5, what was the average? Preston, Fulham, Forest x2 and Millwall. 4 away, 1 at home. 8 points is a cracking return. Playoff push unlikely; we've left ourselves too much. But we should be picking up plenty of points from late Feb onwards. Average was 1.6PPG even with on paper...

Someone was mentioning on another thread that we should be beating teams like Forest so I thought I would have a look at our recent relative form and how that may affect things going forward it is only when you look back at the last 5 games you realise we really have been in a purple patch and on pa...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Blackpool (a) sponsored by Dylan Kerr

Why 15? Hes young, talented and playing his first season in one of the toughest leagues in the world. Give him a bit of time. I get that people are disappointed but it's our own fault for bigging him up in the first place. I think a striker being brought in for that fee and on the wage he is should...

Re: Reading players out of contract in summer 2020

I am told Baker is back at Chelsea. Strange he has played his best football at Reading. Maybe like Ovie he likes to be close to home. I would have him back in a heartbeat. To be honest given the available funds wouldn’t be interested in anyone else. I’d have him back too but he wouldn’t get in the ...
